That bumper looks bad ass. That would have been next favorite design, but I need more functionality than sexiness:). Let us know if you're completely blind through your rear window now.
Yes well we both have our different uses I'm sure.

I used this on my sliders, 4Runner brake booster, and on that power steering pump I rebuilt a while ago with very nice results. So far it has seemed to stand up a little better too gravel chips and scratches than other paint I have used in the past.

Thanks, I was checking that stuff out yesterday while i was at HD, but i think if I've settled on that John Deere Blitz Black paint or medium gloss black if i go the rattle can route. I do like that "professional" series stuff though, used it to spray my axles during the spring over. Works really well, just a little too shiny for this.

Even if you get a good deal on powdercoating, just remember that you can't touch it up. You put one scrape in it down to the steel and you'll have to pull it off to recoat, unless you spray-can over the raw spots.

To each his own, seems like wasted money to me, but it sure will look good until that first ding

Awwwwwwe yeeaahh!!!

Fedex delivery people are going to love this

two boxes... 100+lbs each! Should be here Monday!

Thanks J :D

worse pictures than jason posted, but I'm just to excited to finally have it!!!!!!!!!! Looks pretty sweet, unfortunately i won't be able to get to it until this weekend at the earliest... I have some tcase work to do this weekend that i really need to get to first so that i can actually drive the truck. ATF migration is a fxxxing pain, especially after "fixing" the problem with a new seal, but forgetting to reinstall that little O ring. so much to do and can only work on the cruiser on weekends. I MISS SUMMER :crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:

Oh yeah, the boxes needed to house rear bumpers are freaking massive and Fedex carriers do not like dragging them up drive ways like this one behind woody...

Ex-squeeze-me? Did you buy another truck?

Haha no, just got sick of that SOA bullsht and went back to stock :p

Actually, that was the only picture I've got of our driveway on flickr haha. From when Woody was brand new to me.

Ok, gotcha. I didn't see a box in the pic, so wasn't sure what you were getting at.

Either way, slick bumper!

Thanks bud!

aaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwe mutha fxxxin yayeeeeeeaaaahhhhhhh

So are you going to cut the rearmost crossmember? it looks like it was designed for FJ60's without one

Glad it got there P, How did the boxes fair in the FedEx 500 derby.... ? Looks like everything is there... HA!

J

They did alright. Definitely weren't as pretty or rectangular as when the bumper was first placed inside, but i attribute that to the immense care that they were probably shown once they were picked up lol.

I always ask to see if I need to beef the boxes up more... They are getting pretty close to meeting my expectations.. Afterall.. it is metal.. HA!
