I spoke with the dealership yesterday. He mentioned that Toyota is buying them to put in dealership showrooms across the country. Seems logical with the with the current popularity of the 4 door landcruisers.

Any time the dealer calls to buy your old vehicle, 10000000% their intention is to sell you a new vehicle.

They'll call you again in a few years to buy your old vehicle and get you into a new one, again.


Remember, the dealership's only goal is marketing and sales. They want YOUR money.
