Here she is in all her glory. A little rough around the edges. But will be a clean daily when I get finished with her.

That is DARN clean from what I can tell in those photos. Did that happen to come out of Wyoming by chance?

Putting my conspiracy theory hat on, I wonder if the dealer wants to buy it back so someone there can buy it and fix it up themselves. Seen this happen with damaged cars.

Extremely unlikely. This would be a factory buy-back, if it actually happens.

Safety recalls are open-ended, they never expire. Owners are not legally obligated to have them performed. Manufacturers are legally obligated to perform the safety recalls (if the vehicle is presented). If the recall is ~30 years old like these are and parts are no longer available, the manufacturer is obligated to offer to buy back the vehicle. The vehicle owner is not obligated to accept the offer. At that point the manufacturer is off the hook for that particular vehicle.

The dealer is only doin the inspection. Toyota motor sales of Plano is handling the offer to purchase. Because of the lack of parts to fix the seatbelt recall

Where is the lift, tires and bumpers? Not complaining because I actually like it better in this condition, but you previously mentioned your 60 had all of those. Since it appears to be rust free, I wouldn't sell it to them.

It's a great looking rig IMO in a great color. Looks like she does have some rust issues on the roof but they can always be fixed.

474 Copper Metallic. 1981-84 only.

you assumed I had bumpers and lift . I just was informing everyone that Toyota stated that they will not pay any more money for extras. I do like it stock. But she will most likely get a lift and tires asap

i suggest you double down and show that 1-800-GO-TOYOTA Low Ball Offer Reprehensive that they can't intimidate you into gravy-train'ing them your Sparky FJ60 so they can then Bring a Dark Web Trailer it to the highest TV Drama's Producer of the week like the Walking Dead's " The Book of Carol " action sequence or TOYOTA might funnel it to the latest Global Hot-Spot so they can earn brownie-points towards being pre-approved for the U.N. / United Nations 2025 Green Standard Certification Program .....
