Thank you, I only purchased the soft top. It arrived an hour ago. It’s on the 40 in the sun to warm up. Looks good.

I have to search through the soft top post for the members with the tool that punches holes in the top for the twist locks. Kind of funny, with all the hoopla about the zippers, they are a heavy duty plastic zipper.

Thank you RevISK for all the info.

Sick rig man!! Please post more pics and a review when you get it all installed. It’s gonna look amazing!

Thank you, Will do, I’m working with another Mud member to barrow his professional tool that punched the material for the grommet tabs.

You don’t need anything special, a cheap grommet punch from the hardware store is what I used. With those it’s less about hitting and more about twisting. I’ve also used .38 shells and a pinch of heat but that’s getting a bit trickier.

Love the Rig and background scenery

Thank you all for the rig props. I did all the work myself. Mostly to learn, a lot of YouTube University. Eastwood has really good videos. Also did the work because it’s a trail rig, I don’t mind pinstripes or scratches, just don’t want to dent it up. So I didn’t want and/or couldn’t afford to take it to a pro.

So now that I’m getting it back together, it’s time to hit the trails.

One of these is starting to look really for the 61.

Do they make these for the FJ25 and early FJ40? That was always my biggest problem the few times when they was a few available I missed out. I know FoxFab had a very nice one made but at the time it was $3K. This was over fifteen years ago. For a standard 40 series top for the SWB to work you would need fill in a section at the B pillar.

I haven’t seen one available for a 25. Yeah Mike’s top was so nice.
