After I had my Dessent bumpers installed, you could see a lot more of the underside. Since I enjoy detailing, I spent 4+ hours on the wheel wells today, using lots of different degreasers and cleaners, wire and nylon brushes, and the pressure washer. I finished up with some paint on the metal parts (took pics before I did for resale, although it has been a Cali truck its whole life), and undercarriage spray. Pretty pleased with the results, although it will get messed up at the first rain. :) Now I just need to get a grommet for the one missing in the pic, and relocate the wires and windshield washer hoses a bit higher.

Can you list the products you recommend for this? Looks sharp.

@JAntosch. What specific unit did you order and what harness? I am about to order one next month as Mine is going out on my 2004
Here's my shopping list for the headunit, amp, harness, and assorted cables:

Option C, CC3 2K 128 GB for the headunit: Toyota Landcruiser Land Cruiser LX 100 / Lexus LX470 (2002-2007) - https://www.teyes.com.au/collections/cc3/products/teyes-cc3-for-toyota-land-cruiser-lc-100-2002-2007-car-radio-multimedia-video-player-navigation-stereo-gps-android-10-no-2din-2-din-dvd?variant=44115083591939

Amplifier: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G051S7I/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Metra harness for factory wiring to aftermarket amp: Amazon.com - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007WQ92O/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

6-channel RCA for headunit to amp (4 ft may be enough, I opted for 6 ft and had a bit extra): Amazon.com - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BBFPYBD7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

RCA splitter (2 subwoofer channels from subwoofer into 1 channel on the amp): Amazon.com - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CT6CBE0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

Amp power and ground wire (I swapped in a MIDI fuse instead of the included AGU fuse): Amazon.com - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002VM8RU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

The aux input on the headunit is two RCA's, I added a RCA to 3.5mm Y cable as well to maintain functionality of my previous aux-in port.

Finalized all routing & mounting and passed pressure check.
Compressor is also good to go, but installation waiting on second battery installation.

If I remember correctly, there were 1 or 2 other locations that were super tight, but I thought would work. I didn't investigate further since I have the spare elsewhere. But even tucking it up in that pocket was a challenge.
Most of the obvious spots are too close to the exhaust for my comfort.

Is this a custom tank or do you have a link?

OEMs were pretty much toast already. Hopefully the rubber lasts longer than that...
I had a set I installed on a 2015 T4R and were on the vehicle when I sold it 2-3 yrs later with no signs of issue.

@mokrunka
Hope you didn’t toss the OEM, my rad rubbers were trashed in 6 months, cracks and tears around the majority of the mounting holes. I did coat them before install.

Same here. The Rad Rubber is garbage.

Learning how to weld aluminum, I decided to make some tailgate storage hatches for LC.
I saw someone on YouTube use marine hatches on a 80. Looked pretty clean but most ready made ones sit proud rather than flush, are plastic and around $100 each.
IMG_1718.JPG

I made these with 1" Angle Aluminum for the base and C channel around 1/2" Plywood for the lid.
IMG_1722.JPG

Cutting the holes for the hatches went pretty quick, I used a 6" cutting disk on a grinder that was able to reach the support bars to cut it in one pass.
I also removed the torsion spring...thing...inside the tailgate as it was already broken off on one side.
IMG_1728.JPG

I decided to trim the carpet and fit it to the lid of the hatches. I attached them riv nut and 1/4-20 hurricane bolts, the tailgate pad was pretty mangled in the spots where the clips attach to it, so I decided to drill through the carpet and attach it with bolts as well. after cleaning out the inside I installed some sound deadening foam I had leftover.
IMG_1730.JPG

I ran out of riv nuts so I'll come back to this another day to finish install but for less than $80 in materials and a couple hours of labor. I'm pretty happy with the results.

Finally got around to put the winch electronics into the box.
Can hopefully connect and test this weekend and then make a bracket to be put behind right side headlamp.
Reason: Apex Badlands Electronics doesn’t fit the Dissent Front Bumper
Box used: https://a.co/d/dL6dvRH

Truck and trailer together weight about 6400 lbs. The old Lex pulled it like a dream! Air bags filled to 30 psi. Back end wasn't bouncy and the front end wasn't floaty at all. 4th gear with the torque converter locked holds speed for most hill, only occasionally needed to drop to 3rd. That keeps the transmission temps low the entire time.
