What? The total lack of it? 🤣
My German Shepard ruined my carpet. It’s a lost cause at 30+ years with some leaky fender wells. I want, some day, to be able to open all the doors and pressure wash the interior. Ahhhhh….. we can dream.

But you have a GS dog! It's obviously worth it. I know because the PO of mine handed me ruined carpet, licked window tinting and fur in every hidden crevasse. He only sold the LC after the dog died.
I hope to get a GS to ruin my interior one day.

Yeah, I don't loose much sleep when it gets dirty or I spill a drink. It has Bedliner that hs been painted Brown. Works for me! I like the freedom of hopping in the truck with muddy feet and not worrying about ruining the carpet. The only downside is the noticeable heat from the Trans tunnel.

Hmmm. I have never noticed the heat. Noise, yes

Do it! Get a puppy and train that boy! He’ll be the best most loyal buddy you ever had! Nobody messes with my cruiser… not even the cops…

Happy Halloween 🎃

This weekend I rebuilt the passenger side inner quarter on my 62. Required 6 patch pieces total...

After a few coats of rustoleum, it's ready to reinstall in the truck:

Oh, and I also laid in some new shoes. They were on sale for a decent price. Just waiting for my 70-series 16" steelies to arrive!

More riveting progress on the c channels (pun intended). I managed to get 2 out (those holes you see are for the spare tire carrier bolts). I have a question. The trail tailor c channel replacement has a good 3/8" space above/below due to the swelling from the previous channels. I saw in a YouTube video where someone doing this twisted their frame when they clamped down hard on it to bend it back. This caused problems when installing new springs as the u bolts didn't line up. Is anyone just putting a spacer in there to prevent that? And it would be nice to weld up and box that frame in especially just forward of where the new channels end around where the factory box frame starts. But I'd have to drop the fuel tank to do that.

My German Shepard likes to drive my cruiser when I’m in the store. He’s a good boy and always turns the wheel over to me before I get back to the truck. If I catch him close enough I’ll snap a picture sometime. He’s so proud to sit in my seat.🤣

do you have a link to the youtube video so we can see the 3/8 space...that you're talking about.

The space is 3/8" total, top and bottom (less than 1/4" each top and bottom). The rust swelled and pushed the top of the frame up a bit so it isn't a nice straight C anymore. I could try to force it back down by tightening up the bolts on the C channels super tight or just put in some piece of sheet metal to fill in the space.

One day im going to get out there with you and Knowbuddy. Maybe after i get me a set of Lodios haha
Let's go! Lodios look fantastic on 60's.
I'd have loved to meet up with you guys! You would think that living here that all I do is ride trails, but I struggle to make time for it.
I genuinely thought about you haha. That's how it goes though, if it's too easy, sometimes you don't do it!
