Top Gear's outages from their Burma special. Normally their camera cars are range rovers. But in Burma.... about 15 seconds in you get a brief glimpse..

I remember reading in Top Gear magazine (iPad) a while a go an interview with the Orangutan. He did say that his contract did specify anytime they were filming in remote locations an Land Rover LR4 must be there following him and at his disposal.
nearly every email I've gotten from Chaco (my all time favorite shoe brand) has this red 40 in it. I love it.

Classic Dakar from 1983.
The NBC channel was recapping bad weather because of 2 stages canceled this year.
Back on January 12, 1983, the Dakar was hit by a giant sand storm. Lots of people lost for many hours.
They kept showing a 40 and a 60. And a 2 door g Wagen. Lots of people just kept going.
