I added an on-board dual bank battery charger. I had been using cheap 1.5 amp chargers but this is a much better system.

Did you guys make it to the Wind River's in Wyoming this year?
Half of us did. McGuire dropped me and his little brother off at the Denver airport and he picked up a college friend and headed to the Winds. I had to get back to work. Looks like the old man was left out this year. He came out of the Winds two days ago and he's heading home at this time. Next year I'll take two weeks off so I can do both the Summit and Wyoming

I didn't make it there either. Maybe in the fall this year. There is a big fire just west of green river lakes in the Gros Ventres. Been burning awhile now. Maybe I'll catch you guys out on the trail again somewhere!

I heard about that fire. MJ & I have had a few trips in that range. We will most likely go into the Winds the week after next years FJ Summit

Put on my ultra-budget OME lift. Worked great!

Here's the complete parts list:
- 2 front light-load leafs
- 2 rear light-load leafs
- 2 packs of poly bushings

This worked because none of the factory hardware was *too* rusty to reuse. The factory shocks were also in good shape, and only reduced down-travel by an inch or so in front, and about 1/4" inch in the rear. This would obviously be a problem if I also had longer shackles...

Pictures when I get around to it.

How much did that set you back if you don't mind me asking. Got that coming up soonish on my rig.

Showed the new-school toyota owners @ the fjsummitx that these old rigs can hold their weight. Also realized that I want a rear locker to get up stuff like this a bit cleaner..

So, I got the front springs used from a Mud member for $100 for the pair, which was definitely a discount, vs. about $110 a piece new. The rear springs were $150 a piece, and I got the bushings for $60 for all 24 of them. So, total budget was $460.

This, of course, was highly dependent on the u-bolts, shackles, and spring pins all being in good shape and coming out (and going back in) without having to cut or burn anything. Add in u-bolts and new shackles and pins, and that's another $250ish on the cheap end.

Right on! That's not bad at all really. I'm going to have to replace my rear passenger side shackle mount. It took a hit and is in pretty bad shape. I may have to cut it just to get the spring out.

Jason, I like your orange vac lines; what size are they? and where did you buy them? Thank you sir.
