How did you get rid of the creaky sun visor?

I took the visor off and leaned against a wall with the bracket facing up. Then I simply sprayed Armor-All in where the rod goes into the visor. Did that on and off for a few minutes to let it soak while moving the bracket in and out. Still no creaks up to date.

Thanks! I will try it this weekend!

Slee Slider Steps showed up and got mounted today.

I posted up more details on Wasatch Cruisers if you are on there. (If you aren't you should be...)

I have just a couple from the install last night, I'll need to take a few more today after work in proper light.

Here I was checking to see that I had the towers pretty close to level.

All finished up...

Awesome. Nice Job thank you. I will get on Wasatch Cruisers. I haven't joined yet although I have no excuse.

(Excuse the state of things in my Cruiser at the moment.) Alright I mounted them up between storms here today. I haven't had time to check angles, front to back etc. but looks good. Even if it's not perfect I believe it'll definitely be serviceable. Well built, well finished. Not sure how helpful the lashing points will be since I plan on my floor overhanging it a touch and then putting a Frontrunner footwell water tank in front of it. Based on construction I'd say they're worth it, I got them on sale, might still be. I'll be cutting a floor next week and will update.
**Note on the 3rd one in I just couldn't find one of my screws, so there's just one shown now.

THANKS A BUNCH. These are the only photos available online of these beauties in action. I'm eager to see your final build just so as to get the full review. Hopefully there will be less stormy days in the near future to allow for more on the project work. Looking forward to your update. I will probably end up picking some up since any task beyond this would likely be a simple fix/adjustment. You probably didn't have to remove all the carpet to install, right?

Heading back from our vacation died 40 miles West of Albuquerque on Monday. Towed to Lexus dealership and had to leave it there to get family back. Fuel Pump. To add my experience will post my symptoms, story, etc. here when I have time.

Installed the Slee "Belly" and "Intermediate" skids on the 100 Series...she's coming along nicely. I was surprised that I noticed the truck seems a little tighter with the frame rails being tied together in so many points now.

I had a few friends help with the installation since the "Belly" plate weighs more than I do.

I did have to modify the skid plates to fit around the MetalTech sliders - I will tell you that you need to measure about 20 times to make sure that you cut the skids correctly. The skids are beefy and it took a little bit of effort to get them shaped properly to mount securely with the MetalTech sliders. I smoothed the edges then primed and painted them to ensure that there is not a chance for rust to get a grip!

Got the OEM 18's powder coated gloss back and swapped the tires back on from the Rhino Wheels. I'm not in love with my spray paint job on the center caps, but it will haveto do to get me through HIH6! Here's a before and after picture

Started working on the tailgate storage prototype.

Do tell more...

I've been waiting for inventory to show up on WagonGear website but it seems that when he is making something the 100 series tailgate storage lid is not high on the list.

Jason,

I will have these available once I get moved to Spokane (60, 80 and 100series). I have a few more things to change and add. Flat locks, door configuration, internal finish, etc..

There are a couple others out there so, until my design is finalized I will hold tight on releasing any pictures. Just want you all to know I'm working on this and it will be a nice alternative with a few twists.

Dropped my husband off at the Billings airport and spotted a black, blacked-out 100 with old style spoiler.

Dude driving looked at me so I knew he knew I knew we both had 100s.

Why don't we have a spotted thread on here?

Looking at getting this rack, do you mind posting a rear and front pic ?

I love this rack. I highly recommend. I will send you some pictures when I get home later. I purchased through a website called OK4WD.com based out of new Jersey. They offered free shipping and no tax. Saved me about $300! I don't love that the tent sits high on the rails, but I will only have the tent mounted over the summer months.

@LandCruiserPhil has helped let the design cat out of the bag in the 80 section.... HA!

YEP! All lids will have a split door option (may make it the standard)

Here it is on a 100 lid. Guys with drawers will be able to open drawers and lids alternately as needed. Lids will also open outwards for more "table" space.

In for specifics please. I have metal tech sliders and the Slee skid plate, will probably do the belly plate some day.
