Had my Cruiser shuttled to Judith Landing after a 50+ Mile float down the Missouri River out here in Northern Montana.

I had to then drive my brother and his wife back to their Prius because it would have been awful on that road.

4 peeps, one 115 lb. German Shepherd, gear on roof. And two rafts in tow and all my gear for a month. AHC performed fine with the help of airbags. Love my LC.

Sounds like an awesome warranty. Does the warranty apply to any Toyota / Lexus dealership? Do you have to verify coverage / get pre-approved prior to each repair?

Repairs can be done anywhere. I take it to the dealer due to the rental they provide.

Yes, repairs have to be authorized prior to work being done. This has added 1 day each time.

Replaced the fuel filter. Not too bad, just be careful not to bend the fuel line while you're getting that pesky thing unbolted.

Can honestly say that there was some pretty gross gas coming out of it when I removed it. Glad to have a new one in there at 167k. Took 30 mins.

I have been having ac issues for last 60 days ... freon leak. Took to an AC guy who simply changed out the high/low schraeder valves.

Great reminder to try the simplest, cheapest and most logical fix first.

Pulled door panels for some work and removed every terrible bit of wood paneling, which is minor but felt great.
Also, a bunch of mounts came in for some work this week. Full Gamiviti set and 4 platform mounts from Shane at LabRak. Should be interesting.

Would appreciate if you can post a pic of the platform mounts installed

Changed out the rear OME 866 springs for a set of 864s. I got a new camping trailer with a pretty heavy tongue weight and with all my gear in the truck, bumpers, sliders, etc. it was getting a bit soft. Also cranked the torsion bars a bit and got it aligned. I was mildly surprised when I took it over the scales recently and found that all of the accessories and such had added about 1k to the static weight of the truck.

At present: 1999 Landcruiser, ARB front and rear bumpers (no swingouts on the rear), Superwinch 12k winch, Metal Tech sliders, OME torsion bars and springs, Total Chaos UCAs, Radflo 2" remote reservoir shocks, stock 16" wheels, 295/75-16 Toyo ATII Extremes, Slee dual battery setup, Icom 2820 2m/70cm ham radio.

Loaded up the family for a 2000 mile round trip to Sanibel, FL. The LX performed flawlessly as usual!

Will do. Going to test fit in the next few days. I'm using them, well planning to, on all 4 mounts as my rear seats are all permanently removed.
I permanently removed mine as well. Thanks a bunch

FedEx showed up with some narrow 33.2" tires that Im excited to get installed on our LX470 BEFORE the weekend:D

You are a die hard Nitto TG fan. I feel like you had them on your last 3 100's.

Im a fan of the 275/70r18

Can't wait to see them mounted on the tundra wheels! Post pics.

Got rid of rattles in the b-pillars, lost the gas pedal squeak and got rid of the dreaded sun visor creak. Simple love.
How did you get rid of the creaky sun visor?

I got my Gamiviti rack install finished up last night. It took a while but I'm real happy with it.

Pics or I will have to track you down and come see it!!!

I posted up more details on Wasatch Cruisers if you are on there. (If you aren't you should be...)

I have just a couple from the install last night, I'll need to take a few more today after work in proper light.

Here I was checking to see that I had the towers pretty close to level.

All finished up...
