Dropped my husband off at the Billings airport and spotted a black, blacked-out 100 with old style spoiler.

Dude driving looked at me so I knew he knew I knew we both had 100s.

Why don't we have a spotted thread on here?
Look in the clubhouse section, most groups have a "spotted" thread as its more location-centric than series-centric

Yeah.

That sounds like work.

Sway Bar Links were replaced. Now for dealing with the leaking CV boots..

Helped a buddy out today, @PaulLx470 brought his beautiful new 2007 LX over to my place. I did an oil and filter change (and managed to bang my head on the undercarriage while having hot oil running down my arm - don't ask how I managed that one), recharged the A/C, and cleaned the throttle body while he did a full interior detail. Also, lowered the spare and cleaned the tire and rim, and did a complete buff job with claybar and a fresh coat of wax along with some other little things (the devil is in the details). Needless to say, the Land Beast was kinda jealous, but I did a LOF on her today as well as she was due!

I love the fact that I have the oldest iteration of the 100 Series, while he has the most recent. It just shows these trucks age gracefully and that build quality remained top-notch throughout the series run. Damn, I love these trucks!

I am jealous.

Once I get home I can't wait to spend hours cleaning and washing mine.

If you need any help let me know! ;)

Well...

It's only fair to be honest and tell you my pup has been sick in it a few times since I started this trip. Don't worry; I'll let you take it back.

That sucks! Let me know (I'm in ABQ) if you need any help!

Thank you! Will do for sure next time. Didn't think of it or have much time to reach out to MUD in this instance.

Quick road trip to visit my newest nephew and saw the Oil Pressure Gauge plummet when passing a vehicle. No seized engine, No odd sounds and had plenty of oil.

As soon as I had internet I was searching this forum and found the culprit. Thanks Yall!

$50 at Autozone and 15 mins of wrenching and the Oil Pressure Sender was replaced.

The return trip was a lot less dramatic.

Gave her a wash, now debating whether to powder coat rims an ARB bar to match rear bar and Slee steps?

Also installed a 42 inch, 400 watt curved osram lightbar, throws out some great light.

I love that bumper.

Replaced long overdue 179k front sway bar links. The bushings that mount the bar to the frame are coming in later this week but I couldn't wait any longer so I went ahead and did the links. One of the bushings was actually beginning to separate from the link. I did notice the passenger side link (on the right) experienced more significant wear than the drivers side one. I guess I can owe that to the A/C drain that drips on it. Will probably fix that when the other bushings come in.

Old vs. new - The bar actually wore away at the passenger side link.

...and because of that it also wallowed out the hole at the end of the anti sway bar (only on the passenger side). Is this something that I should be concerned about?? I got it all cleaned up, wire-wheeled, and sanded so there weren't any sharp or jagged edges.

I'd probably weld up that hole and redrill.
