1998 100 Series for sale
SOLD 1998 100 Series for sale $7700 SOLD I purchased this Land Cruiser in the spring of 2010 for transportation for my wife and daughter. I am a ASE master certified technician so all the maintenance and repairs were conducted by me to get the SUV in tip top shape for my family. It has been garaged every night never parked outside since we have owned it. Now that my daughter is headed to college and she has her own car, I am regretfully selling the Cruiser to help pay for college expense. It has been trouble free and will easily go another 100K miles. These 100 series Land cruisers frequently make it up, over 300K The GOOD: Mechanically Sound • New Windshield 2011 • New Fuel Filter • Timing belt • All Timing belt...
Just saw this deal posted. Not so concerned about the interior as much as the mechanical and electrical issues. There's a nice write-up on interior redo on this site. Seems like this is discounted about $3500 from some other 100's with similar mileage. Looks like it has the magic dial too. Any thoughts? I'm about 3 hours away from this in Texas. No affiliation BTW. Just looking for a FZJ80 or 3rd gen 4runner, but wouldn't pass up a 100 bargain if it fits my budget. Doc 99 toyota land cruiser
Just called a dealer about this white on with 114k. Sounded good. Sales guy calls and says... the transport driver crossed the battery and fried electrical last night. What an idiot. What kind of damage would thatdo? They are going to look and see what it needs. Its a toyo dealer too. It will be probably be really cheap.
I am selling my fathers 2001 Land Cruiser with 221k on the odo. He is asking 10,900 obo. He purchased it new from the local dealer in 2000. The color I believe is called thunder cloud metalic with stone interior. Not that there were a lot of different options but it came with most everything including navigation. He has done all the service work at the dealership including timing belt at 90 and 193k. Tires are better than half life. The truck has never been wrecked or painted on. It has a few scuffs on the bumpers and a couple of small dings that could be fixed by paintless dent repair. The truck looks more like 100k than 200k. The antenna mast is broken. I will post up picks next.
2000 Toyota Landcruiser (Ringgold, GA / Chattanooga, TN area) - $8,900 - I bought the cruiser at 200k and have replaced the driver’s side exhaust manifold, starter, tires, brake pads, O2 sensor, mobile oil synthetic every 5k since I bought it, it currently has 252k and uses no oil, I also installed a black brush guard, clarion CD player, & 3 rows of weather tech mats. runs & drives well. has sunroof, power everything, silver exterior, tan leather interior, 3rd row seats, etc. Don’t want to sell, but got wife something else with better gas mileage. Only known issues: couple small door dings, small dent/paint wrinkle on rear bumper, couple small holes in drivers side leather seat, hole in steering wheel leather cover, cracked windshield...
Want to buy a 100 Series LC. I live in east Tennessee so need something close buy. Would be willing to travel up 100 miles for the right LC. Looking to spend less than $10,000 so I know the miles won't be low but that's ok as long as you can provide records of timing belt being changed and other maintenance has been done. Looking for something stock since my wife will be driving it. Prefer rear locker but will look at ones without. Please email johnrickerremax@gmail.com with information and pics.
Here is the scoop... I tried to buy this tonight! 2006 Toyota Land Cruiser 4WD for sale in Chicago - Bill Kay Chevrolet - JTEHT05J462092962 dealer would not budge off of their listed price of $33,500. What they are asking is reasonable considering that this truck is cherry cherry clean. So here is the info, not mine, no affiliation other than that I tried to purchase it and they would not take, 31,500 for the thing. If anyone else wants to give them a call and see if they can talk them down further, I would be very grateful, let me know, or post here if anyone does better, even if its just for sport. Of if it leads to a mud member sale... even better, I don't have to look at the thing on my morning commute.... Joe
Looking for a 1998, 1999 (under 10k) or 2000+ LC / LX under 15k. I'm from Oregon, but will fly out up to 1k miles or so. Otherwise, the deal would have to be good enough to justify shipping... I've been looking on craigslist across the country (yay for the tool in the sticky!) and autotrader. but literally 9/10 of them have no maintenance history. Here's the kind of vehicle I'm looking for in terms of price, history, miles... I need the price to be less than 15k /after/ all needs taken care of (like new tires, long overdue timing belt service, etc.) but it could be anywhere up to 150k miles. 2001 toyota landcruiser only 127K! 1 owner! immaculate! 2002 Toyota Landcruiser I'm really not looking for a steal - I think I see "deals" go...
I just moved to Boston, and am looking to expand our motor pool with our first Land Cruiser. Initially, I want to use this as a daily driver (short commute), and for exploring local trails on the weekend. My budget: $10-12k Preferred Mileage: < 130k I am willing to travel a bit to find a deal, but with a 2 year old at home, I can't dedicate my entire life to chasing the perfect rig. Do these expectations sound reasonable? I am continuing to pick through the existing threads on the forum, but in the meantime, any tips on what to watch for on a older FJ100? (beyond the basics: rust, smoker, has it been taken off road?) Has anyone seen any of the current / active listings in person to speak to quality? Thanks everyone!

2003 LC with 79,000 miles
I have a friend that is selling a 2003 LC with 79,000 miles, white, all options, in excellent condition. Light interior with very little ware on driver seat. She is the 2 owner. Car is from New Mexico. Asking $23,900. Will consider reasonable offer. If interested let me know and I can put in contact with her. All maintenance done at local dealer since new.
Up for sale is my 1999 landcruiser. It has a lil over 252,000 miles but don't let that scare you it has had the timing belt done numerous times and have been serviced regularly with synthetic oil. The cruiser does has factory lockers and bfg all terrains 285's. The cruiser runs out good with no smoking rattles or any problems of any kind. I'm really torn about selling it, kinda want a newer lx 470. The running boards have been removed but I have them and the rear jump seats. The front two seats show some wear, but they are covered with spector off road covers that look and fit very nice. Previous owner replaced steering wheel so it looks brand new. I just replaced the factory head unit with a Sony unit. I know book value I's around...

This isn't exactly the steal of the century, but I spent almost an hour today inspecting this 2000 LC w/<120k miles & it is about as cherry as it gets. Absolutely zero, and I mean zero rust. Total mall cruiser---there are juice/food stains on the rear seat belts, but the seats really are as clean as the pics indicate. There is a bit of "old car smell"---probably from kids & hopefully a steam clean would rectify. 90k service has been done sans H20 pump replace. Engine compartment is bone dry---no leaks anywhere. Underneath it is cleaner than my 2006---spent its life in AZ. There is some moisture around the boots on the front end, but about what should be expected---nothing dripping or super wet. He won't budge on the price...
