I caught the LX470 bug recently and have since been obsessing over finding a decent one.
Ideally would like to find an LX470 with:
2002-2007
up to 200k miles
Any color, except White
Around $15k (a little flexible here and realize probably have some compromises)
No significant rust damage
I'm in NJ/NY area. Willing to travel North and South along the east coast

Hey guys, looking to get a 2007 Land Cruiser in black garnet pearl. Preferably under 200k miles but that’s not as important to me as maintenance records. Located in South Carolina. Will travel a couple hours / day drive. Mods okay, but I prefer stock. Really want the black garnet pearl color.

I asked for undercarriage pics and the owner ended up sharing a video…do yall spot any red flags?
There seems to be some oil leak and rust/paint flaking but not sure what I’m looking at overall.

I'm a little sad to sell this truck, but I had shoulder surgery and can't clean the snow off the trucks for a few months and need a smaller SUV (looking at a GX… gotta still have a Land Cruiser in the fam) for my GF that will fit in the garage, so i am motivated to sell it quickly.

This truck was a grocery getter in So Cal by PO, and I have used it mostly for road trips and getting into the backcountry. The Bad:
Has a couple interior blemishes including a tear in the back of the driver seat that is the biggest of issues
The electric steering wheel adjustment goes up and down, but sometimes does not go forward/back. Not sure if it is a loose wire or what
Spare tire has been removed as the area was not big enough to have a full size matching spare.
Carfax shows 3 accidents
We got rear ended in 2013 at about 90k miles. very minor paint work required, but they went through their insurance so it's on the report
The left side damage is on there by error, we never had left side damage so not sure how...

Bought it with 168k miles and now has 206k. Planned on taking it to 300k before they brought the Land Cruiser back to the states (prado, whatever, that’s another thread)
Since I purchased:
AHC flush when I got it.
Rear brakes about 1.5 -2 years ago
Front brakes and rotors, and wheels repacked about 4 months ago
And new Michelins about 7500 miles ago.

Considering trading my super clean 2007 V6 4runner with 74k original miles for a clean 2003-2007 100 series “Land Cruiser” only. Absolutely in perfect shape! No rust. CA vehicle all its life. Garage kept. Clean inside and out.
2003 Toyota Land Cruiser in Thunder Cloud Metallic with 211.xxx miles. I have a stack of maintenance records that will come with it. Timing belt, water pump, and seals done at 193k. Heater T's and windshield recently replaced. Southern (SC, TN) and California truck it's whole life, so no rust issues. Very clean underneath. Paint is in overall great condition with a fresh detail and coat of wax. Nav screen works fine and shows no fading. Sunroof works great with no leaks. Rear venting windows as well. Interior is in overall good condition, but not without a few stains here and there. I do have the trailer hitch and front skid plates with bolts as well as the spare tire that will come with the vehicle.

Looking for a bit of guidance. I am thinking about selling my 2003 Cruiser. Good condition, Thunder Cloud Gray. 222k miles. When I run comps online, there’s a wide range of pricing. Probably supply/demand in local markets are a factor.
Given the demand for these Cruisers, what’s a reasonable sale price for a private deal?

2000 Land Cruiser, low miles, rust free, classy build. ARB front and rear bumpers, powder coated to match factory paint. Factory wheels also color match. Winch with synthetic line, ARB lights, ARB accessory management system, Old Man Emu suspension. Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong forum, I couldn't quite figure out the best place to post this discussion topic...
So I recently caught the LX470 bug after initially looking for a 4runner, which led me to the Sequioa, which led me to LCs and now to LX470s. I'm on a pretty steep learning curve and trying to take it all in, while also searching FB market place, Autotrader and Ebay for used one's. I've read some people recommending to only buy from individual owners, but from what I've seen so far that's about 2% of the market. I'm in the NJ/NY area btw.
Curious how you went about finding your LX470s and LCs?
Selling a 2004 100 series cruiser with approximately 140K miles on it. It has a blown cylinder 5 with physical damage to cylinder. The failure occurred on 9/7. When it happened, I thought it might be the ignition coil pack, but unfortunately it wasn't. The car is in fantastic shape, no rust (I Krowned it every year since I had it and it has no rust when I purchased it). I was planning to keep it forever and totally bummed this happened. This is a perfect car for someone looking for a project and has the means to do this scope of engine repair on their own.
I had to leave the country on business right after this happened so only have the 2 pics below from my phone for now. My wife is going to drive up and take more pictures later...
Hi everyone, I am shopping for a "new" vehicle. Came across this extremely clean example of a 1999 LX470, with roughly 200,000KM (125,000 Miles). Second owner since 2006, always lexus serviced never winter driven. He is asking 26 CAD (19500 USD). Any input would be greatly appreciated.
2006 LX470 with 176,000 miles. Two owner Florida car with virtually no rust. Located in Fayetteville Arkansas.
Truck is overall in very good shape mechanically and cosmetically. I purchased a year and a half ago with the intent of having this be a winter vehicle in Michigan. However, we moved to Arkansas last summer and I’m planning to move on to something a bit more sporty.
Only spent two winter months in MI and undercarriage was cosmolined prior to it seeing any snow.
While I’ve done quite a bit of baselining since purchasing, there are still a few things left to get it to perfection noted below.
No lien, title in hand.
