Second owner. I purchased in 1996 from original owner with ~30k-miles in San Diego. Clean title. Runs great, no oil leaks, AC blows cold, cruise control works great, ABS/LSPV delete. I live at the beach and there is light surface rust on the undercarriage due to damp mornings. The truck has been in San Diego since new.

This is just a feeler ad for the time being.
We have a 1991 FJ80 and a 1993 FZJ80 (3x locked). I need to replace the radiator on the '91 and rebuild the P/S pump. Otherwise, both are good daily drivers.
I bought both wanting to have more redundancy with a good, durable vehicle to get us around with the rough roads around here. Unfortunately since neither is baselined, it ends up feeling like it's twice the work keeping both and I don't have a ton of time. I'm tempted, though not yet decided on pairing down to one and getting something like a Volvo 240 as an alternative vehicle for our family.
I prefer the FJ80. My wife prefers the FZJ80. Both have sunroofs and racks. No poverty packs here, other than the cloth seats on the FJ80...

This is like giving up my firstborn, but this car needs the right home and a good owner. I'm the fourth owner, bought it at 226k miles and drove it out here for a lifestyle change. It's got leather seats (first two rows- third not included), four new tires as of 230k miles, newer stereo, and stock of about everything else. Carfax will show you it spent a long time out West originally, then got moved to East Coast, and then I brought it back out here. Changed oil every 3k miles and fed it Ethanol-free 88.
The Good: Engine's fine, suspension is strong, has been serviced and checked out by certified Master Toyota techs specializing in LCs. Can go anywhere and will deliver for you. Could be a project car or someone's stock...
Selling my Land Cruiser despite only owning it for a couple months now that my 70 Prado has been imported here and that's now my priority. It's spent a part of its life here as a USPS mail car prior to owning it. Considering selling it within the next two weeks. During my ownership I've replaced the oil, coolant and added ATF to the Power steering pump.

Looking for an ugly, beat, neglected 95-97 LC or LX. As long as the frame and suspension are good, I’m good. Not worried about damaged panels, mismatched wheels/tires, missing or torn interior bits, etc. If it starts and drives good even better. As long as it’s not a rust bucket, I’m interested. I will be cutting and hacking and bending and welding, so I don’t want to spend a lot of money on something that people would consider me “messing up”. If you consider your 95-97 80 already messed up or are trying to part ways with one for a reasonable price, let me know.

Posting this for a friend who is not on the forum. He's located in Chattanooga, TN and is on the hunt for an 80 series to slowly build into a solid driver and light weekend warrior. The biggest thing he's trying to avoid is rust. Aside from that, considering just about anything in a wide range of condition and prices.
Looking for a fairly stock 80 series in the south. Willing to drive/fly and drive if it makes sense. No snorkels.

I know this is a long shot but might as well shoot it, looking to buy a fzj for preferably 9.5 or less but may go up to 12-13ish. I live in ga but willing to travel or use escrow or shipping service, also pretty urgent as need a rig really in like 5ish weeks
Prefer one either one with lockers or 35s or bigger, just to last me until I can get both, I know it’s one of the most reliable fourbys of all time but prefer to keep around or under 200k, but as long as maintenance is good open to higher, just can’t deal with another car breaking on me, open to really any colors aside from gold love the white with the burgundy sageish cladding but know there pretty rare

Selling my LX450. It has been my daily/project truck for the last three years. Between walking to work, being out of the country and a shoulder injury—I have only put 24k miles (mostly highway going back and forth between MKE and the twin cities) on it since I purchased it in June of 2021. I have taken it on a few trips to northern MN and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere—drive down the interstate with one finger on the wheel. Nice enough to invest time in, but not too nice to get out and pinstripe in the woods—which I had the intentions of doing but didn’t really get to. I’ve got a beautiful manual trans and all the goodies to install it for a 3FE powered 80 series but no 80 series to put it in.....well technically I do but it’s going diesel. Looking for a clean, stock 91 or 92.....interior condition is a big one for me, especially the front seat not being blown out. Probably going to be hard to find these days but worth a shot. Thanks.
