I just got a warranty deal on my old BFGs, I got these ones for a pretty good price through Big O, but I really want to pick up some 315/75 16s. Looking to get my first Land Cruiser. Wanting an FZJ80, prefer it be locked, and around the $8k price range.
I live in Tennessee so would prefer somewhere close to this area.. but wouldn't be opposed to flying out west and driving back if it's worth it. This will be an overlanding rig so it needs to be in good shape and lower miles the better.

FOR SALE: 1992 Toyota FJ75 Troopy with 3F original engine, 5 speed transmission, roof rack and tent. Interior is in near perfect shape, as well as rims, tires and frame. The truck runs very well, drove 4 hours straight two ways with zero issues. No mechanical issues whatsoever. Here are the issues:

Asking $5800 for everything. I bought this 6 months ago. I was going to build it up, but just lost interest in it and haven't had the time for it anyways.

I'll start listing the bad stuff:
Hail damage, mostly on the hood
Needs brakes
Needs the front steering gone through and replace all the worn bushings, etc.
Weird vibration over 70 mph, but doesn't feel like steering or driveline and actually doesn't happen that often.
A/C works but has slow leak. I put 1 can in this summer and it is still cooling.
Exhaust leak
Remote lock/unlock doesn't work.

Interior is in good shape for being 20 years old

Looking for my first FJ80. Preferably white, but if its in good shape ill consider any color. Running and driving preferred. Ive seen several on Craigslist within a 4 hour radius. I was hoping there would be something thats not out there on the market.
Must be promising to pass Maryland inspection which in case youre not aware, Maryland is very thorough with inspections. I dont mind some repairs, however, I dont want to swap and engine if you know what I mean.
I dont mind mild traveling, however, im a single father so closer the better. Im not opposed to have something shipped. Trying to keep budget around $7000 at the most at my doorstep.

Looking to get into an FJ80 or FZJ80, that passes safety and emissions inspection in the area, has had all PM done, ha no significant rust, and it is ready to drive. I don't care about the fancy wheels, gadgets, or looks. I can take care of those later down the road. Just want a 4000 mile/year daily driver. Budget: $6,000. Location: Virginia.

I am selling my 80 series. It's been a great vehicle, literally the best I have ever owned! I'm looking to move into a 100 series so the 80 must go to a new home. I bought the truck in 2007 from Kuni Lexus in denver with 118k on it. It currently has 225k. The truck is located in Colorado. I have done all preventive and scheduled maintenance myself and have all records in a spreadsheet since my ownership. Any work that I didn't do, I had done by Slee Off Road in Golden, CO. I have no records prior to my ownership.
The basics are as follows:

I need to go from 6 vehicles down to 3 due to parking issues mainly. I can deliver it in the lower 48 with a negotiated deposit. It was in Canada for a few years then in AZ at the P.O.'s summer home, and it trekked through the U.S. and Mexico before I bought it a few years ago. It has been garaged for most of the time I have had it. Due to a few years in Canada there is some minimal surface rust on the axles and above the windshield, which is hard to see in the pics.

I am local to this guy selling his 1996 Lx 450. It has no lockers, paint is shot and it has rust. He wants 10k for this Lx with only 91,000 miles and I am trying to figure out what a decent counteroffer would be. Or should I run away and keep looking due to the rust. I climbed under the Lx and poked around for 20 minutes and couldn't find any holes anywhere but it is definitely rusty. I am new to this and I am originally from an area without rust so seeing this scares me. This is one of the nicer LC/LX I have seen in this area since everything rusts really badly but I don't want to buy this one just because it is close. I have no problem traveling if this type of rust is a deal breaker.

have a 1995 factory locked fzj80 with 234k miles on it. Engine runs very strong, passed smog a few weeks ago and tag is current.
Engine has the usual oil leak in front and the leather is in decent shape for its age. I put in new magnaflo cats and gears for the front seats. Everything else is in working order.
Lockers engage and disengage without issues, though the truck has never been off road. Clear coat on the hood is gone, and a few other areas that are sunburnt but the body is straight with some small dents and dings in various locations, biggest is the passenger front fender. Title is salvaged but all body panels are original. No rust underneath!
Asking $6500 $6000 obo, located in Fresno, Ca, can be driven to Orange...
