It does run well but needs an alternator, it will start and run with a boost.
Radio does not work, and the harness has been cut by previous moron that owned it.

Hi there, I am looking to add another cruiser to the collection. I am looking for a 95-97 FZJ80 US spec. Looking for one preferably under 220k miles and no rust along with a clean interior. Budget is about $30k on the very high end if it is really nice and lower miles. Does not need to be triple locked mainly looking for a clean no rust example with a nice interior and preferably stock wheels. Willing to travel but hopefully not too far away from Texas. My original idea was to restore it to pristine condition; however, I realized I just have too many projects. Drives great & has been well maintained. I recently drove it 600 miles, through a major winter storm and it cut through it like nothing. Prior to me, this was owned by an older family in Reseda, CA. Paint is in great shape compared to most 80’s I’ve seen. It has the typical sun spots on hood and roof. Sunroof, power windows & door locks, rear heat, and AC, and cruise control all work great.
Comes with 3 sets of wheels. OEM set of 5 needs new tires, four Tacoma TRD off-road wheel/tire takeoffs, and four TRD off-road blizzak snow tires (I’d guess that they have 80+% left on both sets).

1994 FZJ80, 121,700 original miles, 3 Southern California owners since new, all neighbors/friends. Clean title in hand. Price is OBO, but no trades please.
Mechanical: Baselined by Ryan at Miyaki and Steve at RPM in 2020 when I bought it with around 108K miles on it. Plugs, vacuum hoses, PHH, fluids, BIRFs rebuilt, Aisin black fan clutch rebuilt with 15K fluid. Replaced PS pump earlier this year but otherwise our 80 has been trouble free.
Drivetrain: Eibach lift (approx 2”) with Metaltech front caster plates and Delta rear panhard relocation bracket. Regeared to 4:56 and added an Aussie Locker to rear. Front is factory open diff. 7-pin mod with CDL selectable switch on dash.

I bought this 80 several years ago with zero intention of selling it, but I find myself in a situation where I need a lot of cash very urgently and my 80 is one asset that I can liquidate to meet the need. My bird dog (10 month old pup) was poisoned and has been in what I can best describe as veterinary ICU for 3 days now.
