Surprise, surprise, after forty plus years from manufacture you have bent wheels. I think the tire shops are trained to say that to get you to buy new wheels. I'm in the same boat as you, two bent wheels. I would split a set with you, but am a long way from Bakersfield! In the meantime, I put the worst one up as a spare and second bent wheel is on the rear passenger side. The thing that bugs me is no one can straighten a bent rim, won't even touch it! Tires look boss!

This is my 20 litre water tank with a 6 litre per minute flow 12 volt pump. Use it when offroading as the high pressure minimises water loss.

The tank has 2 outlets one high pressure gun the other a tap with magent to stick on the car.

The assembly makes it contained and easy to carry.

Power steering?

The steering box blew the seals and power steering fluid went everywhere! The steering box has been loosie goosie for a while. At least she didn't leave me stranded in the middle of no where! Everything went in the driveway.

Decided to add a water temp and oil pressure gauge. Both my original gauges work, but want more precise information. It also gives me peace of mind.

First season offroad trials after gearbox, diesel pump rebuild.

Transfer case super heavy and doesn't engage 4wd. Linkage is worn needs replacing, probably need to remove the transfer gearshift for some cleaning and greasing .... (OK still comes out wrong I rewrote this several times!!)

Did some wheeling this weekend and noticed my compressor taking longer than normal to activate my lockers, and when i went to air up my tires it took freaking forever to air up. Turns out my dual compressor was now just working as a single.

Pulled the side that was not working to see if the internals were damaged

Looks pretty brand new in there. Since i have a toddler i dont get to wheel as much as id like to, so this thing doesnt get used very much

Turns out, up in this cover there are 2 relays. I swapped them around and suddenly the nonworking compressor worked and the other didnt work. I didnt check this at first because both connectors were getting 12v with the dash switch on. It was sending the non working compressor 12v but for some reason it didnt want to work. I swapped in a relay i had sitting around in my garage and both compressors work again like new.

Bad relay, it had a bunch of corrosion on one of the pins and im assuming inside of it too. This is after cleaning it for 5 minutes

I changed the oil in both landcruisers. New one takes 6qts. Old one takes 8.2qts.

86 Ford F350 4x4 crew cab.
60 has been running great! A little scare this last time. The temp needle was slowly creeping up on the long stretched highway of the 99. So I stop checked if there was a leak or if it was steaming. And nothing. I kept on and stopped twice more. Same thing needle was close to red. Well I found the culprit and it was the thermostat wire was laying on the air rail and was giving me a false over heat reading. I reached out to @CruiserTrash to see if that was possible. He looked it up and said yes could very well be. Well I moved the wire away from the air rail and the temp came down to it normal position the whole way.
Turn the the A/C on and it never rose above the middle. Ran cool and with no overheating. Thank god

Finally got around to start installing the solar panels .... 2 x 50 watts on roof rack, 2 x 30 watts on above driver / as wind breakers and a bit angled for when i have the energy to park the car facing the appropriate direction (Yah right!!!).
Will have a nice space storage under panels for mostly camping chairs / table.
Coupled with a MPPT charger, the current setup is just a normal battery (as Aux) but i will need to switch to deep cycle or Lithium at some stage.

Wiring will be serial for same (2x30 + 2x50) and parallel for both. I'm thinking cables will either be through rear pressure shutter assembly or with snorkel to engine bay.

Sorry for this, but thank you for posting - so the box will blow (or can blow) when it's done. I dont have any leaks that I can see, but I have suspected for over a year now that it's on its way out.

Old habits with the Defi, but the "TPMS" work ok for the price. The caps on the valve stems are an eye sore though. But just thought I'd let folks know it'll tell you if you've got a flat lol

yup lol - concept is neat when youre in the truck, then step out and reminded of how silly it looks.

Yah loved them until I started seeing them too much gave em as a gift to my buddy ... he did the same.
Aside from the looks, they are great easy to change and swap with spare tire. Also good in rims that can sit safely inside, mine was dangerously sticking out of my rims

Sorry for this, but thank you for posting - so the box will blow (or can blow) when it's done. I dont have any leaks that I can see, but I have suspected for over a year now that it's on its way out.

Best to keep an eye on it and check the fluid level often. I was able to get a Red Head rebuild from Georg T Valley Hybrid. The advantage was Georg had them in stock and I didn't have to wait for the rebuild. My rig is my daily.
