In 2014 I purchased this Land Cruiser from the second owner and was able to speak to him at length about the history of this vehicle. This is the history as I know it through conversations with previous owners and provided documents. This Land Cruiser was stolen from a dealership in New York on 1/22/97 when it had only 9 miles. Western KY, 1996, Land Cruiser 80 series
Asking $5,500. 201,700 miles. Does not have factory Fr or Rr lockers, Some rust spots, New BFG Mud Terrains with less that 300 miles on them. I bought it, drove it home 3 1/2 hrs, and have used it as an extra vehicle and for exploring the local national forest. Interior lights aren't working, antenna doesn't come up, Drivers visor was lazy so I removed it (still have it). I freshened up the birfs with new seals. Took mechanic with me when I bought it in Feb of 2014 and he ran a test to confirm the head gasket is not blown. I have the PHH, but I have not installed it. Feel free to ask questions. Only selling to free up the money to pay off my house!

One tiny rust spot under the back window and a little surface rust around the suspension. No rust on frame. Probably needs a head gasket as it had a little grey sludge under the oil cap. Steering was a little worn but drove great. Could use new brakes too. Engine was very smooth and had good power. Drivetrain made no noises and low gear went right in and locked the center diff with no issues. I’m not looking for a project but it looks like a good deal for someone. No front and rear lockers.

Yes, I have an amazing piece of redneck cruiser art...... Even has some custom coilover towers...... with King coilovers. The body is still around, just every single panel is dented and the inside is trashed, with oil spills and all. It has triple sticks, but we can't seem to identify the second transfer case/reduction box. Right now, the body is removed from the chassis, but is included in the sale if wanted. Has nice tube bumpers and sliders, non functioning winch. Really need MUDs help here... this is my sister-in-laws car. She’s been driving it for about 5 years but the time has come as it’s not practical for her to own/maintain/drive this rig. They are in a major tough spot financially...
