40th anniversary with factory front and rear lockers. Needs nothing, everything works. Old Man Emu lift and shocks and Slee drop brackets, 5 new BFG all terrain tires, 285-75-16. Gamiviti full expo rack, new warn winch, ARB bumper and Hella lights. Just had the front seats and center console reupholstered. Also had the steering wheel redone. Doesn't leak any oil. New valve cover gasket, egr valve and vacuum switch valve. Front end was just rebuilt with new berfields. All new brakes and rotors. Paint is in great condition, no fading or clear coat pealing. Had rust holes in the frame.
Got them fixed by a reputable shop.
Still some surface rust on underside due to Minnesota salt.

A couple years ago I purchased a 1991 FJ80 from Ih8mud member GrimmJow, and while I would love to get her back on the road, I do not have the time to do so. I had originally sold the FJ80 to a serviceman from Ft. Bragg in Fayetteville, NC. He drove it home, and while doing so plugged in an inverter that somehow made his shift lock stick and eventually created a "no start" condition (plugs, wires, distributor, ignition coil replaced, did not touch igniter though). I took the FJ80 back a couple weeks later and returned his money in full. He served tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, has a family to look after, and his mechanic was not too familiar with the FJ80. I have all the seats, just took out to vacuum and take pics, they’re in a decent condition better than the drivers seat.

Passenger door lock won’t open from outside.
Drivers door lock works from outside but can be sticky.
Issues with power windows but front two work, albeit slowly.
Power locks work well.
Radio is there but has no faceplate and center console has been gone since I got it.

Old man 4". Front and rear diff(cant get to engage). 196k miles, paints great. Sparkles. Tinted windows. Some rust undercarriage and back window seal. Bfs in good shape, plenty tread. Snorkel. Arb grille. Also, driver window motor slowing quickly, seat motor works, but threads woren and wont move. Using wrench to adjust. Seat have been recovered nicely. Clean.
I have replaced value cover gaskets. Runs great. I can add more pics if it has interest.

Seriously looking for a 95-97 Land Cruiser or Lx450 triple factory locked.
Prefer built ones as I am looking to trade my built 4Runner v8. The 4Runner has 162,839 miles on it and is in good condition for the year.
Being a northeast truck, there is minimal rust, minimal. There is no rot anywhere as i have taken very good care of the truck however it is not a brand new vehicle by any means so it does have some surface oxidation or what ever the term is. Rocker panels, bottom of doors are perfect.
As you can see there is some scrapes from trail damage but nothing serious. I detailed it last year, and I clay bar it the other week. I will give it a detail before trading.

Hey everyone, I live in Arizona and am having a hard time finding a decent condition 80 within a reasonable distance and price. It doesn't have to be perfect, mainly because I need a trail rig / winter truck, but the majority of the ones I've looked at either need an immediate engine rebuild, are rusted, or are nearly new car prices.
Budget would preferably be <$10K, but for the right rig I'd spend a bit more. Let me know if you know of any please!

Ok well I started a side by side race series and really don't need 2 fjs. This is for my 97 triple locked and lifter fzj80. All lockers work but have been put on individual switches. Runs great with lots of maintenance done. Has ome lift that has less the 200 miles on it and newer cooper discovery tires. Does have 335k miles on it but still runs like a top. Original West coast truck until my purchase 3 years ago. (now in NJ). 150k miles. Original paint and interior with 3rd row seats. Lifted, Slee running boards, ARB front bumper, full lockers, throttle control and second gear take off switches, snorkel, safari basket, CB radio, am/fm cd. No rust. Truck starts, drives and operates as it should. Shows wear of a 25 yo vehicle in paint and trim pieces, cracks or faded. Minor body damage to the tailgate and hatch. (fully operational).
