200k miles will go up, my wife drives it daily to work.
Previous owner painted it, looks pretty sharp a few dings and Knicks here and there but nothing bad. I will provide pictures of everything upon request. Just testing the waters to see if there is interest.
I would prefer to sell but will entertain trades, let me know what you have, worst I can do is say no. Rig is stock with the exception of the lift and new tires. Recently put new plugs and wires, rig originally was owned by an electrician, he says he went through everything so wiring should be solid. Has been converted from r12 to r134 and blows cold air. Bit of a squeak currently not sure if it’s the belt or the compressor yet but will be fixed before selling.

Hey everyone, I have an 81 HJ60 for sale. Needing to get something that has third row and is wife-approved. ;) Bought this a year ago to restore and make a great weekend trail/daily driver. Just lost my job, so needing to get this thing gone. I had Goode Offroad in Dallas do some work and give it a look over and he said it's a solid mechanical rig and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across county. Was getting 20+ mpg before lift/tires. Underside is solid, no rust. Slight patina on a few things. Body has some rust... rear quarter panels, a few small spots around drip rail and passenger front windshield and pillar have rust showing through. Has the cool 60/40 split front bench sat. New to the site. Really wanting to get a decent FJ60 or 62. Thoughts on this ride?
I purchased this truck in Nevada in 2012. Overall it's a good solid driver for a 247,000 mile rig. I've done valve adjustment, carburetor rebuild, new exhaust/cat back, starter, clutch master cylinder, driver side window regulator, and scuff and repaint last year. Other than that, just regular oil changes and such. No rust on the body except a small spot on the passenger side rear quarter by the mud flap which was repaired by the local body shop during the repaint.
The chassis is solid, trans and transfer case shift smoothly, steering is tight, engine has good oil pressure with no cooling issues at all, and brakes stop great. This truck has been parked in my garage, when not driven, since I've owned it and spends more time there now...

just found out from my work that there is a good chance i will be moving, cant take two vehicles so posting here to see if there is any interest. I'd love to keep it, but the pain of transporting two vehicles and having to get offsite storage for the HJ has me hesitant.
I'll place some details below, and update pictures in the days to come. I'm still in the process of figuring out if i can take it with me, if so, will plan to keep it. but wanted to see if there was any early interest.

Perusing European websites and just saw this. No affiliation, not mine, and I can't vouch for the car or seller, but it looks like an interesting truck. 1986 HJ60. Asking price is 15,500 Euro, or about US$18,660-ish. Ad says it has 35,000km's on it, which is probably a misprint--I've seen many times the Europeans being off by a factor of 10, so assume 350,000km's (about 220,000 miles), but definitely check with the seller on that. It being a Dutch truck, I'd expect to find some rust or rust repairs on it, so that would need to be investigated, also.
It's relatively close the the port at Zeebrugge, so the cost to go get it and have it shipped would be reasonable. If seriously interested, PM me as I know a guy in Belgium who can go...

Thinking about selling a basket case I picked up from a friend, he was in the midst of a divorce and purging projects.
Anyway he had the paint and body done in the original beige color but in a satin finish. Debadged.
He had the interior redone in a similar leather color to the paint. (Not installed)

The previous owner used this Land Cruiser as a hunting vehicle. It was completely covered in Rhino lining for protection against the brush. I scrapped 3/4 of the paint off to restore the value, and found no rust! I replaced the radiator, thermostat, and water pump. 9 months ago I couldn't get out of 1st gear, and the Land Cruiser Specialist out of Austin, TX did a Rodney flush and adjusted the kick down cable. After the maintenance everything ran great, but after over an hour at highway speed the transmission overheats. I can cruise all day long around town, but if I touch 65+ MPH the transmission will overheat.

Great trail rig or project vehicle. 1989 FJ62 176k, motor runs great, transmission shifts as it should no problems, Yukon 4:88 gears, powertrax lockers front and rear, 2.5” lift Dakar springs BDS shocks, wrangler dual battery system with custom stainless steel trays, BF Goodrich all terrains 33x10.50x15 with 75% tread, some stainless steel brake lines, speed bleeders, 2 into one exhaust system, transfer case rebuilt McNamara gear added no more clunk and several spare parts(hoses gaskets bearings etc). Truck does have rust, the frame from rear wheels to front end is surface rust only, rear section is rusty and delaminating but still solid. Pictures will show other rust issues. I was quite interested in a 60 offered by a seller that goes by “European-cars” on eBay, apparently good reviews, car looked great on photos. Paid deposit, scheduled an inspection and was quite surprised to find some serious enhancement of photos on their behalf . Here are a couple of comparisons, and listing.
