Making the hard decision to sell my 1973 Toyota FJ40. Has F engine and 3spd trans, I assume both are original. If a fair price is reached I will include a good core 2F engine that was pulled from a friends FJ60. The bikini top is the only top the vehicle has.

Selling a 74 Dune beige FJ40 with its original f-155 engine and 4 speed transmission. The land cruiser runs & drives and the four wheel drive on it works great. The truck has not been painted and everything is stock except the carburetor on it. I have a set of different steel front doors and a windshield frame that are off the truck right now, but are included with the truck. I also have a roof, extra front stock bumper, and some other extra parts that go with it. Looking to sell, located in Canton Ohio. There were three complete FJs and one additional was just a shell. So there are four total. The shell and the other one shown that have been disassembled and bead blasted and some body work done and up in primer are clean, one from California and the other Arizona.
The other two are east coast vehicles with rust. This is a package deal, you have to take all of them. Two have titles

I am selling my 1977 FJ40, this FJ40 runs, drives, starts and stops. Very original, has the factory 6 cylinder engine and trans. Also has the rear jump seats, rear heater and jack.
It has a nice patina, your could drive it as is or fix the body and paint to your liking. I also have the rear factory spare tire carrier and hubcaps. I have already installed a lot of new Toyota parts including the front and rear bumpers, all hoses, fan belt, plugs and wires, thermostat and new housing. I’ve owned this cruiser for about 20 years, and a change in life status has me putting it up for sale. A few details:
- When first purchased the truck was completely stripped, and gone through both mechanically and body. Minor rust was repaired, frame treated, and all body seams sealed. Rear tub was replaced with new steel tub, and steel rockers were welded in and integrated. Painted Toyota nebula green.
-Custom bent front tube fenders, Iron Pig Off-Road 3/16 laser cut steel rear fenders.
-Bullet proof IPOR belly skid
-TBI 350 w GM performance serpentine kit and accessories. Painless engine harness, Griffen double core aluminum radiator. Truck rewired w Highway 22 harness, modern fuse box moved out of harms way to glove box...

Rare all original 1978 diesel BJ40. Original 4 cylinder 3.0 litre B diesel engine with matching 4 speed transmission and 4WD. Engine, clutch, and drivetrain all working flawlessly. Restoration in 2016/17 included rustic green paint job, vinyl seats, headliner, dash, new AT tires and rims, block heater, and power steering upgrade. Included maintenance of mechanical systems and wiring. All mechanicals, gauges, and lights working with exception of the speedometer which failed in 2020.

I bought this FJ40 3 years ago from a guy in Cincinnati, it hadn't been run in 5 years or so but had been sprung over.
I got it running, replaced the transfer case, rebuilt the e-brake, replaced the radiator, built double-cardan drive shafts for it, installed mini-truck power steering box with a GM pump so it has full power steering, installed GM 1-ton tie rods and tie-rod ends.
