1973 Toyota FJ40 Plow truck. Great little personal driveway plow truck, runs great and plow articulates left and right with controls in the cab. I have used this truck to plow my driveway for years. 4x4 works as it should. Would take a lot to make it road worthy but is a great as a yard truck. Former owner repaired body with diamond plate in areas.

1974 Toyota fj40, looks to be mostly all factory. i do not have the title also do not have the key. rust on frame and body. i have another steering column with a key i can give you. i am not sure if it runs im sure it needs plenty of work. has pto on transfer case with the shafts going to the front. $3500 firm will posts pictures here shorty. they will not upload

I'm cleaning up my farmyard and looking for a new home for this.
This has been sitting for a few years but was driven daily by my neighbor until I bought it. Thought I might have used it for parts or title for my build but didn't end up needing it.
Currently has no battery. When it was parked it ran but the carb could defintly use some TLC to make it smoother. Fair amount of rust in places. Others pretty solid. I see someone added a full roll cage. Have CO title

Full Fiberglass body in good shape. Tub, bulkhead, fenders, hood, grill all good shape with no cracks or bondo. The rest of the truck is in rough shape, frame has deep rust in places and surface rust on the rest. Full drivetrain is present and should be in good working order, was parked when the engine locked up. Engine is there but questionable if it can be rebuilt. Windshield surround has a few rust holes. Yes I know the bezel is upside down.

Any interest? I'm the old guy who's bit off more than he can chew:( I've done a lot of work and spent lots. Here's what's been done so far:
It's down to the frame, sandblasted, 4x4 Labs steering install, suspension mod started SOA, Alcan FJ60 length springs, 5.3 vortec, NV4500, Atlas 2, AdvanceAdapters bell housing clutch etc. FJ60 width Diamond axles w/ARB, 4.88's, boxed rear frame. Cross member built and installed for new drive train.

1969 Land Cruiser FJ40
Rare original 1F 6 cylinder engine with 3 on the tree. Runs and drives really well, with a recently replaced carb and clutch. Body is very solid, minimal rust and filler. Recently restored seats. Includes a set of half doors, but no full doors or hard top. Dash cluster is currently not working, but odometer read 48k miles. Obviously on 50+ year old cruiser it’s most likely much higher.
This FJ40 is a fun beach cruiser as is, or a perfect starter for a full restoration.

With much hesitation I am selling my 65 fst 40. I dont have a ton of history, but this is what I do know. This was a one owner california truck sold new in Redwood City, CA. ( I was born in Redwood City. It was used mostly for towing behind an RV and was told alot of the miles( 91k original) were from towing. It still retains its original black plates from new. The inside of the glovebox has the dealer sticker from the redwood city dealer.The .grandson of the original owner inherited it and sold it to a fellow who sold it to me. It is a super solid survivor, never restored daily driver. It is an original red fst 40, with a factory installed pto winch ( works perfect) At some point it received a repaint in its original red, probably 30...

I purchased this in hopes of doing a patina restoration but now I'm going another route. It's got a great body no rust and original paint (very hard to find) The dash was cut but not a deal breaker for most restorations. Has oldman emu suspension, a V8 with 3 speed auto and a Ford 9in rear. It's located at Proffitts Landcruisers in Colorado right now. Buyer responsible for shipping it wherever you want. Spring reversal and roll cage.

Selling my 1971 FJ40 in Spring Green with fresh restoration. It is the original F-155 and 3 on the tree, 4 wheel power drum brakes, no power steering. About 83k original miles and I have no reason to doubt that. I tried to keep this as original as possible during the build, while buying new parts that were worn out such as weatherstrip, but retaining original parts wherever their function was still good and appearance was acceptable to the rest of the build. I have tons of pics of the entire restoration to show this wasn’t a spray’n’pray flip. Very little body filler, was very rust free to begin with, sprayed from bare metal...
No affiliation. Does anyone know this truck? Seems odd to do a frame off restoration and not paint the aluminum tub to match (and put on rear flares).

Is a nice install and runs good. I have only run it out of a jug to fuel pump because tank has old gas in it from sitting. Brakes clutch all work good. all drum brakes. Rust is fairly minimal for a fj40 . It has been in the dry butte montana area most of its life.

Odometer says 57050 but not sure if it’s been rolled over. Had engine and transmission was re-built and drivin less than 100 miles. Had it shipped from Colorado and off the trailer drove it 4wd low for a mile or two. Might need a head gasket. Been sitting for a couple of years and has some rust, worst is on the fenders. Interior was redone a few years ago.
