After a couple of years without, my wife and I want to buy another 40-series. So as the title says.... I don't have time for a project but we don't need a trailer queen either. Let me know what you've got. Looking for 76+ or Pre-76 with 2F, 4 or 5-speed, and disc brakes in the front. We would consider one with a SBC conversion depending on how clean the conversion is. Still needs to have at least a 4-speed manual (sorry, no love for autos or three on the tree) and disc brakes in the front. Power steering would be nice but not a deal breaker. Thanks!
73 FJ40 Flatbed in NJ
Selling my 73 FJ40 Flatbed that Runs & Drives with its original f-155 engine and 3 speed transmission on the floor. I’ve owned the truck for around 10 years and it was converted into a flatbed by a previous owner who owned a metal fabrication shop. The hard top has rear camper windows that slide open and the top comes off as well. It has a custom roll cage inside the cab. I liked the truck bc it looks like a FJ45 sort of and has a different look to it. The rear roll bar on the back is off a old 4Runner so you could replace it if you wanted the same roll bar on the flatbed. The truck comes with a custom roof rack that will need repairs, extra pair of steel front doors, extra rear axle, extra front bumper, extra wheels & tires, and some...

So the wife is entertaining the idea of me selling her 2014 JKUR for a 40 series. She loves the spring green color but any light green or light blue would probably work. My requirements are relatively simple: 1) rust free (mostly) and 2) stock (mostly). This will be a summer convertible for us so I'd prefer a stock rig versus a modified one. This will be my first 40 series and I can fix almost anything but I detest rust. So rough interiors are ok, crusty frames are not. Something with power steering would be nice as well. Or be able to be retrofitted. I have a decent idea on what they are going for and I'm willing to pay a fair price. I'm thinking I should be able to find what we are looking for in the $15k to $30k range. Any help...

Atlanta, GA 1966 FJ40 Valuation?
Currently located in Atlanta, GA as of July 2020, this 1966 FJ40 has been an Arizona car bought new with a 327 V8 swap completed by the dealer when new. This is a one-owner Arizona title car with no accidents or bodywork. I believe the color is Coronado Beige. Patina has been sealed with a layer of clear coat. It has a clutch and wiring issue, that I can fix before sale if it can add enough value. I don't see many '66 FJ40's on here, in this condition. I'm trying to determine an accurate value of the car, any advice or offers will be considered. Upgrades: 1968 roll bar New holly 4 barrel carburetor New tires New brakes and double slave cylinders New hoses New alloy radiator New heater core Power steering GMC New interior Full...
1982 FJ40 LX
It's time to let my FJ40 LX move on to a new owner but I have a dilemma as to how best to sell it and where best that would be. The vehicle is LHD but it lives in the U.K. where we are RHD. I know the best prices are to be had over in the States. Auction houses here in the UK are talking with No Reserve which is a bit scary. I've had the vehicle valued by a reputable classic car company as well as my insurers to be in the region of £25K+. Any advice from you guys who might have had similar experience. Very briefly: 1982 ex-Saudi Arabia. Owned since 1983, brought to the UK in 1985. 150,000kms Approx 6 yrs used on the road, rest of time stored in garage. 95% original Recent repaint, new brakes, spring shackles, various other work. Very...
