Does anyone know what this little bag is for? It was found in a ‘71 FJ55.

It says TEQ on the flap and TR on the lower left corner on the back.

Thought this small deck of playing cards was kind of cool. Each card has a piece of trivia. Did you know Nolan Ryan once had the fastest pitch in baseball at 162.3 km/hr? Thats 101 mph on the radar gun. Funny how the word “motor” is spelled correctly on the card but not on the box.

It would seem like the next generation of items that will be vintage or collectable in the future have started to burble out of Japan.

The trays are from a collaboration with a company called Dulton. Dulton from what I've been able to gather is similar to IKEA. And yes I did buy 3 different colors in hopes that some day there is a third Land Cruiser in the fleet. This is my version of "manifesting" things to happen.

The other items are a 8mm and a 10mm socket who I think are made by Koken, but are branded Toyota. The black rings at the top of the socket match Koken's "Nut Grip" line. I had heard that Koken was starting to supply Toyota with tools, and this reinforces that idea.

The Dulton swag was available in the Toyota Automobile Museum and the LC Base store. Neat stuff and quality. I brought a few things home.

I'd been wanting to repaint a TEQ wrench clip that had been painted a pretty ugly green, and wanted a simple spray paint so I didn't have to take it to the powder coater. This Krylon Matte Ink Blue (bought from Lowe's) is very close. The clip on the left is the repainted one. It had some rust pitting so it didn't make a very good donor, but I was very happy with the shade. Thought I'd share in the event anyone else is in the same boat.

I know I’m late to the party on this thread, but dang. I just spent the last 2 hours catching up on the entire thing. Well done, everyone.

Makes me want to spend some time in Japan scouring bargain bins and junk shops…
