1981 Toyota FJ 40 Land Cruiser / 91,000 miles / original except for wheels and rear bumper / all maintenance records / excellent running condition / garage kept / owners manuel & tool kit / small rust spot/bubbling on rear quarter panels at bumper and front right fender
would like to get $15,000, not sure what market will bear, happy to discuss further with interested parties
74' FJ 40 with Disc Brakes, Saganaw Power steering conversion, Proffitts family roll cage, 4" lift kit with and BFG MT 33 9.5. Just put in new Corbue seats before hunting season. I also have Detroit Lockers (not installed yet) and a bikini top as well as the hard top. All the work has been done in top fashion by Proffitt's Cruisers. The body has some rust but everything is complete. I hate to see old green go! $9500.
Looking to sell my Land Cruiser. It has 107969 actual miles, a little surface rust but no rot, the floor pans are solid, it does need a headliner. I am asking $15,000,00 or best offer. It comes with a high lift jack, cover, orginal jump seats, bench rear seat, two metal doors for someone with more time to make half doors with and a body color tail gate. It has been garage kept for the past 10 years.
I would drive it anywhere.

1972 FJ40 on one tons v8 4spd trans np205 case 42in iroks $5500
1972 Cruiser with 76 body, motor runs good. Has chevy 4spd trans 205 tcase, dana 60's front and rear with the rear locked. Stock 4.10 gears. Does need some finishing. I do not want to sell it but I don't have a good place to keep it anymore and I don't want to see it rot. Tub is in good shape as far as rust goes. Has nice seats and center console. I would redo the cage if I were going to keep it, and move the rear axle back a couple inches for a better driveline angle. It also needs exhaust run. $6200 in Citrus Heights CA Email with questions. The frame has been repainted the rear brakes have been rebuilt, the emergency brake has been rebuilt. The front knukles have been rebuilt and warn hubs have been installed. It has a new clutch, complete with pilot gearing and all. Motor has been painter new valve cover gasket has been installed, new hoses new thermostat new water pump... I'm selling be because i cant do all the body work required, i only have a single car garage and its for the wife and kids... I will it comes with a shed full of parts. I will consider a clean rust free running 60 or 62...

Hello everyone. This is my first time posting anything here. I am listing my 1978 Toyota FJ40 for sale. It is green and I am going to try to post pictures. I just bought it last year and have purchased many parts to get her back to looking good. I haven't had the time to put anything on and most of the stuff is still in boxes. I bought lots of parts from Man a Fre, TLC, and SOR. I made the pilgrimage in the Cruiser and had the Guru (forgot his name) come out and point out the many things I needed.. I bought most of it. New heavy-duty reinforced seat covers, Bush Whacker fender flares, Door window channels. shackle lift 2" front and 3" back to level it off. New body mount kit. Tons of stuff. I can't remember it all. this is an 11/71 40 that ive had for a month now and with the tax man hitting me hard, i have to sell :(
just spent a few bucks to get it in running/ driving condition with a new carb hei dist plugs wires filters and the like. still far from a daily driver but its got potential. gm 327 with muncie m22(rock crusher..as evident by the gear whine) with stock xfr-case and axles. rust on drivers side floor area under seat and some on the back of the hump. nonstock seats(maybe brat seats?) but original seat base frame. small rot on hard top mounting flange on passenger side. rest seems solid and sound. heres the link from my previous post.

Not sure if this the right place to post this question, but I have a 1980 BJ40 imported from NZ in 2007. I am going to sell this rig as is but not sure of the value of diesel rigs any more. She needs some lov'in as she has some rust showing up in all the normal places. It has been parked in my garage for the last year or so. I still drive it as she runs great. She has a new head and all the injectors have been serviced on the 3B engine. Everything works but she has rust and the interior front seats are not original to the cruiser.
The cruiser is located in Eastern North Carolina and I believe the production date on this model was 8/80 and originally registered in Japan when new. I can verify this date when I return this weekend...

This is my 6th FJ40 - a surprise birthday present 4 years ago. It was to be my last until life got in the way, and now I have no choice but to sell her.
She is unique in that she's a perfect mix of original, modification, and custom. Her body, lights, glass, dash, hooks, and even the door moldings are original. I chose to keep it that way until the original parts needed replacing. The last owner was a custom buggy fabricator who had purchased the FJ40 for his father. He was in the process of building the FJ40 with the front stinger, side rock guards and roll cage, when his father changed his mind. I have decided to sale my 1973 FJ40 that I have owned since 2000. This FJ40 has undergone a complete frame off restoration and modernization that sets it apart from all other FJ40s out there. 98% of all work was done by me and my father with the intention of owning this vehicle forever. FJ40 Lots new, over 30k in receipts since 2004. rebuilt factory straight 6 gas 3.8 motor, Original Toyota 3 speed on floor, power steering, safari seating(seats 6), hardtop and softtop. Motor was done in 04. Many new parts:: steering, gauges, exhaust, shocks, belts, hoses, to name a few. Set up for wench. New flooring. Has original running boards. Does not smoke, knock or tick anytime cold or warm. No smoke on cold start and it starts beautifully. New tires. Not perfect but kept original. Stored inside. This truck has not been cut up for any reason(not for a bigger motor, bigger tires and not even for radio). Hard to find unmolested. I have lots of detailed pictures.
