Interested in purchasing a 1979-1980 FJ40. Preference would be either a Freeborn Red, Rustic Green, Green, or Yellow - in that order. Only interested in 40s with little to no rust. I know I am asking for a lot but I am willing to pay top dollar.

Wiring has all been gone through as well as all fuel and coolant lines replaced.
New CCOT steel gas tank (new hoses, sending unit,...)
Electric Taurus fan with temp control and override switch for water crossings
Engine is a rebuilt SBC(NOW DEAD). It is a 1964 283(small block Chevy). I added a HEI ignition and a Holley 2D Pro-jection fuel injection system(including Holley 2d manifold).

Up for sale is my '73 FJ40, with approximately 12k miles since being built by Toyota Master tech as his personal trail vehicle.

Here it is folks. Sale fell through today. My 1970 FJ40. 3 on the floor. PS conversion. 5 new tires. Original F. New Trollhole carb. New exhaust system. NO SMOG. New clutch master and slave. Completely redone driver seat. 2 sets of front and rear seats. Rear hatch dented, have replacement. Lots of xtra parts. Surface rust, live near ocean. One dime sized rot rust hole. Rear corner dent covered with sheet metal. xtra 4 speed tranny/transfer with new clutch/pp/bell housing etc for swap. Classic stock look. I'm not a guru or pro with LC's. Is my bezel upside down?? I can try and answer all questions as best as possible. Drives great, awesome compression. 40 is rough around the edges, but gets thumbs up everywhere I drive her. Great safari...

1979 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser Diesel
I have a '73 FJ40 project truck that is completely disassembled looking for a new home. It is located in Athens, Georgia.
I do not have the engine, transmission or transfer case, but pretty much everything else is there. The frame has been sandblasted and powder coated fine texture semi gloss black. The axles are complete with wagon wheels and original springs. The body is a hard top with barn doors and hatch in good condition with some rust but not much rot. I'll put some photos on my photobucket site in a couple days and post a link.
I'm motivated to get this moving so I can get my other truck back on the road. I'm asking $2500 obo

1963 FJ40 "stamped steel bezel"
The truck would make a perfect frame off restoration. The frame is good it has surface rust through out the truck the only rot is a little in the quarter panels, in the running boards and the rear sil as you can see in the pictures. The engine turns by hand and you can hear the starter turn but not engage so it at least needs a starter to try to start. There is alot of little loose parts in the back that are included. The truck is a 3-speed colum shift. I am looking for $2600obo I can ship within a resonible distance
