I have owned this truck since 2006, The engine runs very strong, power-steering is easy with the 37's, tons of flex, and is relatively low-CG for a sprung over Land Cruiser. Almost everything is new and/or replaced on the truck. The fuel injection makes it a bit more street-able as well as the Saginaw power steering setup (one hand turning) , front sprung-over with recessed shackle reversal keeps it tight and low on the road, extended wheel base helps it track straight as well and a custom sway bar was done to keep in order to keep the truck stable in turns; flexible but still be able to be used heavily on the street (removable swaybar). It has a 4-speed manual transmission with a new clutch and all new brakes all around...
First day of Spring and I wanted to test the waters on MUD. I have a 1969 FJ40. It is an original CA truck with black and gold licenses plates. I have owned it for a few years now, but haven’t done much wheeling with it as I intended to mostly for the fear of messing stuff up. It is too original and clean non-rusted truck that deserves a frame off restore in my opinion, which I am not in a place to do right now. I would love to get out and hit the trails this Spring and Summer, so my intentions are to trade my truck for something more trail worthy. Nothing beat up or trashed, but something that I can drive to the trails, wheel and drive back home. I would love an FJ45, I know long shot :), but would like another FJ40, maybe even a 55...

1975 toyota fj-40. Runs and drives fine, very road worthy. Does good on the highway, will need a starter soon. Truck comes with some extras. Hard top, hard doors, soft doors, aluminum tail gate, rear ambulance doors, Ambulance jump seats in good shape, bikini top, standard late model toyota seat with storage underneath, disk brake conversion for rear and a full best top brand soft top although its not in the best shape. Just bought 4 35" tires with 85% tread. Truck comes with those tires, plus 3 spares. I love this fj40 and had no intension of ever selling it but i am buying a house when my loft lease is up. Although it runs and drives good it will need some TLC. Has rust but worth restoring, or drive as is.

Talked with him regarding buying the "Roo bumper" he mentions in the ad (he is checking on the vintage for me) and it sounds like a pretty solid 40 owned by a fellow enthusiast.

I have a 1975 toyota fj40 for sale or trade. It has been repainted blue. It has the hardtop with it. No soft top. It runs really good and has recently had the fluids changed. Does not leak oil. It is the factory 2f motor. I do not know the actual mileage but I am guessing it is 124$&@. It has a newer flow master muffler on it that sounds great. I replaced the voltage regulator, clutch master cylinder, oil pressure switch recently. The truck has a The vehicle had a wiring harness put in before I got it. It isn't pretty but all the electrical works but the amp gauge. Oil pressure is good, I just installed a new switch and the temp stays down. Hi, new to this forum, but learning a lot already. I'm in search of a Land Cruiser.
Looking for a clean BJ/FJ40 (I'd prefer the diesel but I know they are rare). I'm not concerned about year or it being all original (I do want the hard top and doors). Looking for a daily driver so no big lift or crawler types and comfort mods are a bonus (PS, disc brakes, AC at the top of the list since I'm in Texas). I don't mind paying for shipping for the right truck. I'm most concerned about rust (aren't we all) so I'd be willing to look at trucks that need a little mechanical work to get moving if it's clean. Interior is not critical either. I'm in the DFW area. Willing to spend up to 10k, but might go over if the perfect truck comes...

my 60 has 305 stock trans and transfer 4 wheel disc fj62 springs and add a leaf
