1982 FJ40 in Sandy, UT
$12,000.00 Selling my Cruiser because, my Home Depot and Dump Truck broke down (need it fixed - the house is suffering). Have owned the 40 for almost 3 years. Most of the parts are from Cruiser Outfitters and most of the Work was done by State Automotive. This is not a purist rig - it does have a carbureted chevy 350, but has the original 4 speed transmission. Have done a lot of work the past 3 years: Engine was put in last May with a new carburetor, headliner, door panels, 3 core aluminum radiator, Saginaw power steering (replaced last summer), wiring and exhaust was done about 2 months ago, and a Flex fan and shroud put on last week. Had a Ranger Overdrive when I bought it. The seats are in great condition. There are other items, but...
1965 FJ40 in North Carolina $12,000
A rare find: working 1965 FJ40. Original engine and body. Inside was coated with a type of "rhino-liner" early enough in its life to prevent typical rust seen in an FJ this old. There is a non-structural rust-through spot under the driver seat. Three speed - moved from the column to the floor. I may be the third owner. When I bought it in 2008, it had come to him from a hunting club near Roanoke river. 69k miles. I put a new OME suspension and Warn winch on it in 2008. Has a broken front left hub - torque sheared bolts turning on asphalt while the hub was locked.

Finally thinking of giving up my 1976 FJ-40 along with a matching 1955 Canadian M100 trailer with hard top lid. Has ARB bumper, Warn winch, electronic ignition, headers, weber carb (have original as well), power steering and brakes, Old Man Emu suspension with lift (2.5" I believe), snorkel, bikini top and tailgate, soft car cover and probably a few other add ons. Missing the cigarette ashtray which was stolen 3 weeks ago (who steals an ashtray?). Mechanicaly the car is very sound (thanks to the invaluable contributions from the many menbers on this site). The body is solid, just some surface rust in a few places as I had it out past the first snowfall last year, but easy repaint to get it perfect again. I am offering it up here...

Hi, I am new to the forum. I am looking to buy an Fj40 or Bj42 at Europe, in fairly good condition with no rust. I found some Bj40 which are well preserved but i am afraid they will be seriously underpowered with a B engine and i dont want to install any turbos or intercoolers (i like to keep things original and simple). Any help is welcome, thanks.
