This 1973 Fj40 soft top model with a 4.2L 2F and 4 speed trans (not the 3.9L 3 speed), went through a complete nut and bolt restoration. Every last factory bolt, bearing and seal was restored or replaced with OEM if available. This has been my almost daily driver for the last three months since I finished it just to make sure it was ready to go. I also took the cruiser on a trip to Michigan and back and it handled perfectly and ran great on the long trip. The parts and processes are too numerous for me to list right now but if you are a serious buyer I will be happy to answer any detailed questions through email or by phone.
