Hey Guys,

I have gotten out of the cruiser craze, life caught up.

I'm currently living out of state and I need to sell my landcruiser in storage in Michigan. My folks are going to be back in town in about a week, so any transactions will be completed through them. Pictures will be coming once they're in town and can get them.

It has sat in storage for the past 7 years while I lived in denial. It was running before it went into storage.

These are the specs:

1975 Fj 40

Chevy v8
New Wiring harness
New Tires and rims, 600 value
Aqualu Replacement aluminium tub - 3.3k value
New old man emu suspension with very few miles on them 1.1k value, plus installation
winch
seats
original rear jump seats
hard top
roll bar

Currently it's sitting with the powertrain assembled, with the front part of the chasis, ie where the engine and driver sit attached. The new tub is not assembled, neither are the seats, winch, rollbar or hardtop. I'm looking for some idea of it's value, I know it's difficult without pictures, but I put 15k into it.

Could anyone give me a ballpark price of the above worth? Also I'll be taking any reasonable offers.

Thanks a lot,

Brian

Too many unknowns to even guess. I will say this though 7 year old tires are not new. They age just sitting and will not be worth much. What type of winch/seats/rims/trany/transfer etc... will determine what it is worth.

Hey shawn!

Thanks a lot for the reply, and that is a good point. I'll make sure to get a picture of all the parts you suggested above and I'll post them here. This will take 3-4 days.

Thanks again,

Brian

PM me your email address and I will send you a spreadsheet I created when I parted out several cruisers. It will show you a realistic value of parts. Then you can review what you have and come up with a price point.

You will make more of your investment back if parted out but that may not be possible with the long distance. Best of luck in the sale...

Hey Tcstack,

I'd love to have that spreadsheet, thank you so much. Pming you now. Appreciate the best wishes, and yeah the distance does make this hard.

Thanks for taking a look!

V-8 hurts the value. Other items are certainly positive. Still there are plenty of projects out there for under $5000.

Thank you! Appreciate the input, totally agree about the v8. Here are pictures, let me know if you've got an opinion about the value. Going to list it on ebay soon.
