For sale is a 1966 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40. The engine runs but needs the gas tank cleaned out. The FJ is currently sitting on 33" tires with a 2" lift. Aftermarket heavy duty rock sliders and bumper with a winch up front. This is a project and will need a tow or bring a trailer. $4k
Hi MUD - Longtime lurker but first time poster. My first car was a Sky Blue '78 FJ40 – not mine in the profile pic, but similar. I drove it daily for a couple of years, but I had to sell it as it couldn't make the 10 hour drive to college. That was 20+ years ago, and now that I'm approaching mid-life crisis age, I'm looking to buy one again.
My budget maxes out in the mid-teens, which I know won't get me anything fancy, but as my mechanical skills are fairly elementary, I'm also not looking for something that needs tons of work. And I'd like to find a US model, no "fixed up" South or Central American imports.
I'm in Atlanta, so ideally would find something within driving distance, but I'm open to travel for the right rig. Thanks all...

73 FJ Complete frame off rebuild last year. Orange and black color scheme. Body and frame sandblasted. Several body panels replaced. Professionally installed Line X interior. Family of 5 with only 4 seats. Wife says it’s time to sell. 6cylinder engine, 3 speed transmission both cleaned and repainted. All seals replaced during rebuild.

1971 REFLECTOR THAT IS ON THE INSIDE OF THE TAIL LIGHTS.
Looking for fj40 or fj45 or variant rolling chassis. Decent frame, axles, suspension, steering. Body would be a plus but not required. No drive train wanted.
Need to sell my FJ40 - unfortunately. This 1972 model built in July. I bought it last year and have been in the process of getting all the bugs out of it. It runs good and really doesn't need anything at this point. Here is the list of things that have been done:
Brand New OME leaf suspension kit including shocks and steering stabilizer
New tail lights and front blinkers
Aussie locker installed last week in the rear axle (spider gears where worn)
Oil change and plugs
New interior with sandblasted seat frames / repaint (still need rear seats done)
New rear motor mounts - (fronts are newer style)
8000 # warn winch with SOR winch mount
Warn manual front hubs
New clutch, resurfaced flywheel and flywheel bolts
Converted back to Asian...
Not mine, but I'm willing to try and look if someone is interested.

Unfortunately I've got to sell my FJ40.
Last year I quickly moved to the US for a job and had to leave my FJ rebuild "as is" back in Ontario. We've now sold our house and I need to say bye to my truck. This is a difficult situation as I'm still in the states.
I'm selling a 1976 FJ40 that I imported from the US about 5 years ago (and fully imported so I have an Ontario slip for it and everything). I got it from a member on this forum and I imported it from NC but it was in Arizona before that. I doubt its ever seen snow let alone salt.
Here's the run down:
Body/Frame:
Its frame is in very good condition, no signs of damage or repairs, lots of factory paint still on it
The body in ok condition (some rust behind...
In the market for a 1965 fj40 with the corrugated hardtop, have a better idea of what i am looking for, have cash can close quick. Will consider projects, prefer the least amount of rust as possible, and bonus if original paint is still intact.
