Saw this good looking 1971 FJ40 being auctioned 7/12/19 in Missouri.
Im selling my 1967 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 FST with 78,255 original miles. It runs great. Original paint plus a binder is included with sale which has letter from original family, original California Black License Plate and photo with the plate on the truck, receipts for service over the years dating back to the 1970's, owners manual, brochure, photos of vehicle with original owner, mining claim location where it was used in the Sierra Nevada Mountains registered in prior owners name, ect... Highway speeds of 65-75 no problem. Check out youtube video 1967 FJ40 FST for short walk around and test drive. Amazing history on this original truck. (I replaced the torn up interior, and also installed new Toyota oem front bumper)

Thanks everyone for the help as I think I’m getting closer to buying my first FJ40. Found the one below and think I’m ready to pull the trigger on it. Before I do, is there anything that you guys see here that I should be aware of in the pictures? Any questions that I should specifically be asking based on the post? The seller seems like a real straight guy and he has a lot of knowledge on the rig. He even sent a video of it starting up and it sounded great. Pretty excited to enter the world of 40 ownership...just unsure what to look for.

I'm selling my US spec 1979 FJ40 Land Cruiser. Motor and drive train are all original as far as I know and work like new. Transmission and transfer case were both just rebuilt and I had the head and valves done last year. HEI distributer, electric fuel pump, manual steering box new last year. Interior is rhino lined, seats and dash all in great condition. New Billstein shocks sitting on a 4” lift with almost new 33” BFG KO2 AT’s all around including spare. Selling my 1971 FJ40 for no reserve on eBay. Starting the bidding off at .99 cents. Was a really nice car a few years ago and things went to s***. Sat at a shop in the 100+ degree Georgia heat and the paint started popping off. Wouldn't run after sitting either. Think the starter is bad.
