I am curious as well.... I see the valve cover has the 2F positioned at front center...is it possible it was a late production 78 that got the recognizable 79 cover? Or is there more?

Love this rig. With an unlimited budget I would hate to see what my property would look like. I would just horde these things. When "everything is over priced" that's just the new price.

Ad on CL is expired. How were able to see the rig or know the details such that you’re interested? I’m interested as well but just to see what it was about and how much the seller was asking.

Anyone have a pic or the rig in question or can supply some details on it? Much appreciated!

It's probably long since sold now, but from memory this was an apparently original 40, blue if I recall correctly. Around 40K miles maybe. Spent it's life in socal and I think they were asking mid 30's. Worth the money all day long if it was what they said it was - which is probably why it is no longer available. Like I said, when everything seems overpriced....wait for it...that's just...yep.... THE NEW PRICE.
