I’ve had my 100 series for a couple weeks now. Had the timing belt and water pump done almost immediately and I just installed a new radiator and replaced the drivers door lock actuator motor over the weekend.
There is a ticking from the engine bay with acceleration and after reading some post about the spark plugs backing out, I checked the torque on all of them today. All seemed to be torqued to 17 ft lbs, so I’m ruling that out.
My next suspicion is the ticking is coming from a cracked manifold. Curious what others thoughts are and if it is the manifold, is this something I should address right away, or can I put it off for a few months?
