Folks seem to like these tires in a 255/85 size, (which looks fantastic) but there's other options. Thought I would show folks what a 235/85R16 looks like on a 60 series using a 70 series wheel. Drives really well and looks cool.

I like those. They’re a good size and the 235 tire is what the rest of world uses for all the terrible roads.

I just wish we could get 235/85r16 and 255/85r16 tires in lighter load ratings. I've a ran both on multiple vehicles and liked the size/profile but hated the extra weight and harsher ride. In my opinion/experience an E rated tire is just overkill on most light trucks and SUV's.

I really like the E rated. They helped handling a lot. I run mine at 40 psi and I’m on 005 springs.

Love the look .. wonder how they do in sand?
The reviews are pretty good regarding sand, but I haven't had it off road since I got the tires. I can see them being a nightmare on ice, but most everything is anyway.

Can confirm, my KM3 were a nightmare on ice.

I ran Yokohama g003 MT 255/85r16 for 38,000miles on my BJ74. We lived by a lake with beach like sand and they just trucked right over it like nothing. No issues in the powdered sugar sand either.

That said I’m running the same tire in 285/75r17 now. It been my favorite mud tire by far. Does good in everything but ice or slick hard pack…then again most tires do the same in ice.

Thanks for the input

I'd love a C-load in them, but then again it's a woods truck and I'll take the extra ply's.

The G003's spec out to 32x9.4x16 if you go by their measurements.

Trying to nail down the right PSI. at 35 felt like I was riding on the center tread, dropped it to 32 for now.
