The stock crossmember might work, but every time I've done this I made a new one due to the trans mount being further forward on the 700r4 than the stock toyota system
would anyone happen to have torque specs on the bolts around the outside perimeter of the split case???
also: the large nut that is on the end of the tail shaft of the transfer case that would be connected to the spud shaft? (not the ones on the companion flange's).
thanks!
Looking good. Not sure what the actual torque specs are but I ran mine to 32 ft/lb on transfer case and "air impact" on the big nuts.
What do you plan on doing for motor mounts frame side?
clint
yeah, we ended up going 30ft/lbs on the perimeter bolts and 95ft/lbs on the spud shaft...per AA's specs (although the spec. seems to be in fine print on the instruction sheet) but we staked the nut on before we threaded it to lock it in to place.
-and i bought the AA motor mounts as well... i'll get a picture of the complete motor assembly tomorrow with motor mounts, exhaust and the lokar flexible dipstick.
we are ready to begin going back in with the "new" stuff tomorrow!!!
