Fun story and inspiring thread.
I sold my first 40 after high school to fund a trip to Europe that ended up kick starting my life’s path in many ways.
That olive is very high on my list as a dream color.
Rock on.

thanks, was a bit tricky but looks a lot better than the drooping 40 year old headliner did.Nice work on the headliner, in particular those smooth corners.![]()
Finally got my wheels back. I sent them off to have them widened from 5.5 to 7.5" and added some 33x10.5 General Grabbers. Looks like I need to clean up my hubs now.

I had a place called Bill's Welding do the work. I think they were in SC. (704) 872-7528. I had to do a little fine tuning before paint.Who did the custom work on your rims?? Are you happy with the result? They look top shelf with the Grabbers.![]()
Thanks man. Where did that bumper you bought from me end up? Last couple of pics of your 40 I've seen has a stock bumper still?Truck looks gorgeous, great work!
Totally regret selling but it went to @dogfishlake wife's mustard 40....Thanks man. Where did that bumper you bought from me end up? Last couple of pics of your 40 I've seen has a stock bumper still?
