Would it be a posery thing to do, if I asked...

I wouldn't consider it posery.. I say go for it if you like the look of them. I'd do them to get the people next to you to actually see when you hit the signals

Poser! :) J/K

They are available in the US: 81730-51011

Wire and socket are available to: 90075-60001

Now whether your wiring on the fenders has an accommodation for them is a difference story.

You mean you want to add them for safety purposes.... right? :)

Well sure...

Beno,

I assumed that the harness most likely had empty hook-ups for the indicators. I noticed other empty sockets when I was taking my rear paneling off, so I figured Toyota made a universal harness that could be used in different markets. Is this true?

Other empty sockets may be for rear fog lights. That would be neat. I "need" rear fog lights.

Amir, the empty sockets were on each side of the lower portion of the upper lift gate assembly, behind the plastic panel that covers the upper lift gate lock mechanism. It is extremely easy to get to. Based on their location, I have no idea what they would be used to power. Perhaps lighting on a factory spare tire carrier?

Possibly. I do not own a 200 so I cannot take a look and compare.

But just like the 80 series has the harness for the factory OEM sub tank, I can imagine the US 200's having the side marker harness.

I guess there is only one way to find out then!

They are of great utility to motivate left lane cruise control zombies to move along so that you may pass someone on the interstate also...

I like the side markers and rear fog lights. Both will be in place on my 09 before the first snow fall.

The 2013 has them on the side mirrors. My 08 Tundra has them on the accessory tow side mirrors, it was prewired.

I looked, and did not see any available connections. But, it would be pretty simple to tap into the existing turn signals.

I added these to my 80 series.

Unfortunately, it wasn't plug and play but I just tapped into the turn signal lights from up front. Really easy as far as the wiring went. It was a little tougher cutting a hole in a perfectly good fender. Just measure carefully before you cut the holes.

i think they would look cool and almost like you have an "intl spec" version 200, plus they do make safety sense IMO with a large SUV, i like having the turn signal mirrors on the 100
