Hi There

Started hearing a squeaking noise....
Noticed the ball joint is worn.
See pics.

I am assuming due to milage and a lot of potholes we have here.

Can the ball joint be bought alone ?
Was looking on e bay could not find the correct one....

Pls advise.

Jay

Can't be bought separately from Toyota. Is available from the aftermarket, just search it on the forum.
Toyota will sell it with the lower arm you mean ? while I only need the ball joint.....

Correct.

If your ball joint boot is torn and the joint is still in good shape, you can get boots from Toyota.
43345-69015 Boot, Lower Ball Joint
43324-69085 Boot, Upper Ball Joint

555 seems to a recommended aftermarket replacement. I replaced my upper ball joints with 555 and have the lowers sitting on my workbench whenever the OEM's decided to let go.

Fluid looks like it could be your steering rack.

Check Cruiser Outfitters they just started importing the 555 replacement ball joints - and I "think" they offer a lower ball joint.

A ball joint doesn't have enough grease packed in it to create that mess- check your brake line fittings and reservoir level, steering rack fittings and reservoir level as DirtDawg mentioned.

Yes Toyota does not sell the ball joint by itself anymore, Toyota used to sell just the ball joint many moons ago, now only the control arm assembly with ball joint. Your best bet will be 555 Sankei ball joints if you do not plan to replace the arms as well. I usually carry both upper and lower 555 ball joints for the 100 series cruiser.

You may want to replace your control arm bushings as well to refresh your the suspension.
