yeah looking forward to some pics looks like a nice rig--I have an 8274 in the back of the garage waiting for me to wade thru the rest of the work so I wouldnt mind seeing the install

I took the distributor apart and cleaned the crap out of it.
I think between the centrifugal weights hanging up and the vac advance assembly plates being sticky with old grease and dirt it was keeping it from advancing/returning.

Glad to hear you got it going. I found my vacume advance to be gummed up but it wasn't until I was disassembling the distributor to modify for TBI. I think its a common problem that nobody really notices.
