After enough pestering I've finally taken out some time to devote to alternative tank placements. This version is to put the tank between the front frame horms and mount it to the underside of the frame. It fits there perfectly if you have a Delare power steering cooler, JDM fan and winch that is mounted no deeper than 7.5". Measured from the back of the mounting face of an ARB bumper. I haven't decided if its just going to be one flat plate or a bent plate.

I’ve searched the interwebs, but could not locate the fitting I want. I’m sure it’s out there maybe I’m just not using the correct terms for search.

What I hope to accomplish is placing a “swivable, rotatable”-type fitting between the York 210 compressor & the 90* Wits End fitting.

It would be female threads onto the York.
A connected, in-line, 2-piece part, that the Wits End 90* fitting could attach to.
Fitting would just be a straight piece, no bends.
That will allow the top & bottom to move independently from each other.

Right now the 90* fitting, when tightened, is not in the optimum orientation for running hoses.

If I had a fitting like this, I’d be able to orientate the 90* fitting to exactly where it needs to be after making my connections to the York.

The part I’m describing would attach between the York & 90* fitting below:

Take my fitting and grind down the bottom of it. The part you can’t see in the image. It’s a tapered NPT thread so removing material will change it’s orientation. You’ll have to experiment a little at a time.
 
Maybe extra Teflon tape would allow it to become “fully” tightened in a different orientation.
 
@jjdeneen918 is this what you are trying accomplish? If so I did what @NLXTACY suggesting. My hoses are barely noticeable with nice lines out of the York.

I’m not even trying to get them in-noticeable.

I just want to choose the direction of where they point once tightened.

I’ll play with shaving off a little at a time & dial it in.

I’m assuming a belt sander would be useful for something like this.
 
A wiring question for you guys.

I ended up with an odd-ball York 210 compressor. It came with 2 wires, not the typical single wire.

I have the Wits End manifold which come prewired wjth a switch & relay set up. The wiring is set up for a York with a single wire.

I contacted Joey & he sent out some wires & connectors. We’ve been trying to get ahold of each other so he can guide me thru this, but we’re both always busy.

If someone can advise me what the 2 wires are on the York (white & green). Hot, ground, ect.
I can’t find a wiring diagram online.
ID where they connect to, that would be amazing.

This is a crappy shot of the Hella relay. There is a single wire that’s not attached to anything, it just has black heat shrink at the end. Ideas?

It came with 2 wires, not the typical single wire.

Yes that is why I sent you the separate baggie with the components you need to finish the wiring for the compressor. The green wire from the York is the ground. The white one is the positive. The components I sent attaches to that connector. The positive connects to the singe wire connector that came pre-wired on the manifold. The ground wire needs to be added and just needs to go to any decent ground bolt.

Ok, I think I’m starting to get it.

So I cut off the double terminal at the York.
Add these bits to the white wire at the York:

And attach to the single lead wire coming from the manifold? This wire connector here:

That will give me power to the York.

The green wire I just have to extend to a ground bolt somewhere in the engine compartment?
Attach a ring terminal & secure to the engine or body metal?

I have to assume I have a bunch of spare parts that were sent, the 2-wire terminal, spade clip, ect?

I had a friend help me out wiring this thing up.

It came down to 2 things.

There was no 2nd wire going to the switch.

I used an inline wire-adder gizmo connector to splice into power.
No sure if that’s the “proper” way, but it works.
Maybe Joey can chime in on that.

2nd was I needed to install a damn fuse.
In my defense. I added the fuse to the positive battery wire & figured that was it.
Without the fuse here, there is no continuity.

Those things work, but ruin any semblance of being weather proof. The connection will corrode in a season or two.
 
Now it’s just down to making sure everything is tight & doesn’t leak. 😁

Which leads to the next question.

On the brass fitting going into the manifold, the is a TINY machined pin hole in the fitting.
It is continuously venting.

This thing has a pressure switch to shut down & safty blow off valve.

This can’t be an additional safety measure.

Those things work, but ruin any semblance of being weather proof. The connection will corrode in a season or two.

I couldn’t get heat shrink tubing over the connector. So I wrapped it in electrical tape.

I’m tempted to cut some large heat shrink, wrap & temporarily superglue it in place, then heat shrink the connector.
