Could have a sign shop produce vinyl lettering to cover them. Just make sure they use UV rated vinyl. I did this to a license plate. Several years later, still looks new.

This likely wont help with mpgs but what do you mean by "factory?" The OEM tires were a P-Metric tire and if your tires are currently an LT you would need to look at load inflation tables to have the correct PSI. e.g. P275/70R16 = 2480 at 32...

Interesting. I’m having these same issues, but while getting to operating temp. After it gets to 110-120* and higher, this issue goes away.

Is it only when cold, or at operating temps?
