Could have a sign shop produce vinyl lettering to cover them. Just make sure they use UV rated vinyl.
I did this to a license plate. Several years later, still looks new.
I had a hawk kamikaze my windshield several years back.
Destroyed the windshield, lots-o-blood, but no penetration.
Replaced with China glass, OEM gasket, & correct sealant.
No issues years later.
Ok, hopefully found the source of the rough idle at cold & bad gas mileage!!!
The shop called me today & stated one of the wires going into the MAF had come loose from the connector.
Said it’s better now.
I should have it back to me...
Slee sells the Spidertrax 1.5” spacers for our rigs.
I don’t know why they couldn’t FexEx them at your expense, plus a few bucks for their hassle.
But I bet they’re closed on the weekends.
Maybe someone on here has a set on a garage...
Obviously would require more ducting, but wouldn’t be much more betterer if it was out in front of the radiator?
As opposed to directly above engine, it must be the warmest part the engine bay.
Especially AtoW is utilized, less ducting...
I’ve got a discussion going on this matter.
I’ve already replaced both O2 sensors, with no avail.
Currently at the shop, awaiting a diagnosis.

Not to hijack or criticize, but this comment always irked me.
If you have something to add to a discussion, post it publicly.
Taking it to PM doesn’t allow for everyone to learn or gain any insight on the topic.
I put the water temp sensor in the head outlet pipe.
There is a perfectly flat area on it like it was designed to be tapped for a sensor.
The temp sensor, in that location, will read a bit hotter than the OEM temp sensor, but within about 5*...
Maybe I missed it, but where is this Bell intercooler designed to be located?
All I saw was “z direction”, no idea what that means.
AtoA, water cooled, size/capacity, location, ideal temp lowering?
Tires were not sourced at Costco.
I think the only mention of Costco I made was filling tires there using their self-service air machines.
Sorry for the confusion.
That is definitely the correct size of the tire.
I wanted a tall & ‘skinny’ tire. It was nearly the only 35” tire narrower than the standard 12.5”.
No clue on your tire terms, gonna have to google them.
Edit: tire terms...
I’m running the Nitto Trail Grappler, 35X11.5r17. It’s a 6-ply C rated tire with a max rating of 50 PSI.
The “factory” PSI I mentioned was the door card recommendation, which I believe is 32 PSI.
So what would be the recommended PSI for...
This likely wont help with mpgs but what do you mean by "factory?" The OEM tires were a P-Metric tire and if your tires are currently an LT you would need to look at load inflation tables to have the correct PSI.
e.g.
P275/70R16 = 2480 at 32...
Well, I’m currently at the mercy of the shop.
Currently out of town for another couple weeks. Dropped off the rig before I left, wanted it fixed while I was away.
Side note/question:
The A/C. The shop put dye in the A/C system last week to track down why my A/C system keeps loosing its charge.
They said they can’t track down a leak.
Last time they charged my system, it had perfect A/C for about...
Rig has been at the shop for 2 weeks now.
Got a call yesterday about my O2 sensors.
Owner said the rig is running rough & very rich. Which it is.
Cold start, it’ll run rough til it warms up. Usually evens out at about 100-120 degrees...
