"Folks I hate to have to detail this but I have now just a touch over 200 orders that are ALL waiting on parts that are currently STILL being held hostage at USPS. These parts that I ordered were shipped to me early last week. I should have already had them and all of these orders shipped last week. Instead I’m sitting on the phone screaming at the local postal inspector trying to find out why the f*** 14 boxes are trapped in one spot for now well over a week. All I hear every day is “I don’t know”. I check tracking and it’ll say it’s moved to the next hub. I’ll recheck the next day and it hasn’t arrived at the next hub. I’ll check the following day and now tracking says they are waiting to depart the first hub. 🤬

I know you all count on me to get you your orders on a timely basis and “usually” I’m pretty good about getting out orders. This is so beyond my control that it’s downright infuriating. As I’m sure it is for all of you waiting on orders.
I don’t have any other news other than they are looking into it. I’m fully expecting a flood of refunds and I don’t blame any of you. I’m just stuck until these packages show up.
I am so sorry folks 😞 @ Medford, Oregon"

He must have the same mailman as @gnob

Same fûcking circuit, i have a local PO that gets distributed from his.
Problem is that there's no recourse for it. You're just SOL until they "feel like it"

Glad Wits End, ended up local. Even if i dont have an LC. ;)

Just to touch on how bad our UPS is. I just had a box of parts from Cruiser outfitters dropped off 30 minutes ago that was sent Signature Required. They dropped off the parts in front of the garage with no signature.

Here's USPS tracking I get when packages are lost in the wild (this is from an unrelated order that is many days late):
In Transit to Next Facility
Your package is moving within the USPS network and is on track to be delivered to its final destination. It is currently in transit to the next facility.

Completely useless message. They might as well say, "The check is in the mail"

That sounds like what I was referring to with and Etsy shipment from my daughter's store. Maryland to NJ and it sat "in transit to next destination" for over a week. It took a little over 3 weeks for the customer to get their order.

I ordered some things from him weekend before last and they came in about 3 days. Way faster than I expected LOL.

Just an FYI. I placed an order for a complete E Brake Kit on 7/9/2020.

Order Shipped 7/10/2020, Delivered 7/14/2020.

Checked the box, not 1 piece missing... Impressive.

I ordered stainless steel brake lines on 6/24. Still haven’t received them. Not really worried. I have ordered from them before and they have always come through. I’ll order from them again and call this a covid-related delay.

well to be fair, there's a pandemic at the moment, and some shippers are authorized to sign c.covid or similar under these circumstances...

Some covid-positive person must have sneezed or coughed on the packages. Now the packages are on 14-day quarantine. Standard policy.

I've ordered several things recently and all arrived within the week of order. No issues at all..

The shop making them is still playing catch up after the shutdown. I only got 18 of the 50 sets I ordered but they said more shipping to me next week.

I ordered several smallish items two weeks ago and received them within 4 days. From Oregon to Kentucky. Rock on!

The one-man show must go on! Keep on rocking, Joey!

Just make sure if you are ordering something expensive, Turbo comes to mind, that you make sure it is being shipped with some sort of insurance, and is being shipped by the carrier you selected on the website.

USPS is the worst where I live and I selected a carrier other than usps but it shipped usps anyway, and of course they lost it. Turned out it wasn't insured and both parties basically said it sucked that you lost the money you spent but not their problem. My first shipment became a $800 or so mistake I had to eat, but I've used him a number of times since without issue.

I have made 4 orders from Wit's End so far.
Two of them are done; delivered within the week. Pretty quick
Put in two large orders, one on Monday, one yesterday. Haven't heard about those yet, but I'm sure it's all good. Only been a day or two and it's a lot of stuff.

Between coronavirus, USPS being USPS, and Wit's End being entirely run by @NLXTACY and no one else, I'd say it's better than most vendors, if not all the ones I've bought from since February.
I mean he delivers faster than Amazon does here in the Bay Area. That's legendary.

You still have to make contact with the customer. The customer doesn't actually physically hold the electronic board in their hand and sign, but the employee still has to make contact with the customer and then do the signing from there.

But everyone is grossly overworked and some employees take it upon themselves to break the rules.

Me personally, I worked about 900-1000 hours of overtime in 2020 alone, and not as much in 2021 but I'm still at a regular years salary 8 months into the year.

The shipping industry is so messed up right now it's unreal. Leaving home at 7:30am and getting home at 12:30am has been pretty normal for the past year and a half. And then getting forced in on your days off and getting disciplined if you don't show up.

Have a family? Doesn't matter, boxes are more important.

Holy resurrected thread Batman!

For those worried about ordering from Wits End; my experience has been 100% positive. When I say I’ve sent thousands of dollars Joey’s way, it’s not an exaggeration. I preordered the turbo kit before the kits were complete and he was impeccable about communication. If you can’t reach him here, check his Instagram. Had a question for him and didn’t expect an answer for 24 hours or more, but he got back to me before I was done looking at Aloha Jens latest post. I’ve had around a dozen orders with Wits end and all of them were smooth. I recommend him with confidence.

I am only one month into my LC80 ownership but Wits End has been the best vendor I have encountered so far. I think I ended up placing 3 orders total after figuring out I had more problems to fix than I originally thought.

Joey answered a bunch of questions and was very supportive. Some of the contributions to this board are very strong too. I am currently trying to figure out the coolant hose routing and the Wits drawings have it about 90% solved for me.

I did try to spread my orders around with other independent sellers to see how that worked out and how they compared. Joey's at the top of my list so far. The others have been solid too. Although I actually had a pretty significant issue with one vendor but hopefully that all gets worked out.

My 80 Series build would not have been possible without Wit's End.
