I have the bulb addition in my truck. iirc I added it prior to my FatMat and OEM seal replace and noticed a huge difference. Benefits may be less clear with the others installed but no doubt it helps 100%.
split the mcmaster carr order that has the rubber bulb on with a friend and you're paying maybe $50 each for the 100ft which comes with a good /foot discount. Any other seals: Jegs has discounts usually for the PRP OEM replacements.

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. I hate electrical and I hate having everything apart so it’s not really an elephant I’m sure to most, but it is to me 🤣
The BEST part is putting some stuff BACK together (again)…
Since I ran power...
Those look great man! Love the attention to detail
I will be releasing the 62 stuff very shortly. Been too long but had a lot going on. This next year is gonna be crackin!
🙉 Cleaned the front doors inside and out
🙈 Removed the vapor barrier (I’ll replace with shower curtain material before we button it back up),
🙊 Swapped my passenger switch with an OEM one (still doesn’t work right but at least it matches)
🐵 Put...

In addition to what @OSS said, if nothing else somebody wants them for the fabric alone. It can be used for patches. Anybody know Nomad Cruiser’s handle? They might want it since they do upholstery work.
My 83 didn't have a B pillar grommet/hole and I added connectors on all speakers so I wanted the ability to pass all the way through with a 2 pin connector in case I have to remove doors.
You can use OEM, or some nice aftermarket grommets I found, to add the wiring feature on the door and on the B pillar. Use a 1" step drill and add the holes right where they are located on the 62 series.
Otherwise, routing is identical.
ok, I really want a full set of these. Saving up now.
I really like how you added speakers to the rear door. Can you share more info on that? Does the door frame need to be cut? Where did you route wiring for trucks that don't have power...
Jammed the Sony ES 10" in the rear quarter. With absolutely no room to spare and some changes to add a ton of rigidity to hold the beast still... it really boogies!
Hopefully I don't launch my marker light out the side of the truck like some...
This was fun custom work to jam a full size 10" into the shallow 5.5" of quarter depth available. Waiting on hardware to complete the install.
O K for orikawa... an homage, if its not obvious, to the venerable KC HiLites I am lucky enough to...
I'm almost done installing a full set of Spenser's panels (still need to do the tailgate), and all I can say is they are 100% worth it. Great quality, great look, and Spenser is super easy to work with - he took the time over the phone to talk...
Starting a thread to show orikawa panel installs, shop happenings, trips, and even my favorite JPN/USA tools for this work.
We are an Arizona based company and in shop space with LandCruiser Grilles.
Thanks everyone for your kind support already.
Those activities were inspired by a @wngrog post that I bookmarked (one of many) that involved $25 gas struts, and a $40 tool that I’ll need for sure again…
Installed M8 rivnuts on the hood side, there’s already a hole, just needed to make it a...
That’s how it was hooked up before but I read this thread (FJ62 de-smog question... - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/fj62-de-smog-question.1055398/) when I was looking for possible answers for my stumble, and it went on the list when I saw...
It's not rocket surgery to get the measurements but it takes time or money at least. There have been many home brew over the years and if you only have to do it once you can do a darn decent job just plopping holes and scraping paper over the...
What bags have you guys found now?
Large Padded Accessory Pouch - https://eberlestock.com/products/large-padded-accessory-pouch is the one I run on the front doors.
Dimensions: 6"h x 8"w x 2.5"d is a good baseline for sizing to fit the front...
Forgot to share the trade out for the 61 I want to move. It’s a really beautiful 61 that the original owner had ManaFre do a 12HT conversion on in 2010. The job was well done. Unfortunately for the owner the motor took a dump 100k later and the...
