So has anyone ordered any item from Joey recently, successfully? Genuinely curious, since the website is all online.
 
If I stole your truck this morning would you come on here and say "hey he didn't steal it for the first 38 years of his life and he helped some guys out on the forum"?
I am saying it sucks that a once solid vendor turned to s***. It is not as if there are a wealth of people building custom parts we need.

I get it but there lies the problem and it's not something new around here, we act like vendors are doing us a favor by taking our money so they get the benefit of the doubt to a fault...

This entire situation has played out before on here. Some vendors are really good guys for sure but aside from some outliers nobody is making parts for our trucks unless they are making money off of us for it.

I ordered two fire extinguisher mounts probably around May (during the beginning of production) and received both mid July without any issues. I guess I've just been lucky because aside from a few small delays I always received what I ordered.
 
So has anyone ordered any item from Joey recently, successfully? Genuinely curious, since the website is all online.

I think the second question is whether they ordered a product that requires fabrication or regular Toyota parts kit.

You were more patient than me.

I ordered beginning of May (when he said shipping by Memorial Day), I emailed him twice in June asking for a status update. After no response for 2 weeks since first email, I filed charged back.
 
At what point do card companies stop letting their customers buy from bad vendors?
It's like everything in this world, someone is always willing to take the gamble. More risk, more reward. In other words, the bank takes a bigger %.

As far as chargebacks, I own a business and we absorb the chargeback if approved and a penalty percentage, the unfortunate parts is they (credit card companies) have no neee to enforce or refuse since they make money on both sides of the transaction. Restaurants are high use for fraud cards or even fraudulent chargebacks. I see 1 a week generally. 🤦🏻

I paid in full for mine as well and have had zero update. Purchase date was may of this year.

yep, but the strange thing is that I've made other orders of items and received every one of them except the quarter panel mount. That's what I've been "patiently" waiting on since may.
