So wait the 100 series in Oz have solid axles upfront?

Called 105 sub model .. 80 frame and suspension with 100 series Body ..

LC 80 Series

This thread was moved to the 'shat' section due to excessive non-80 series content videos (and has now returned).

Please keep the videos on track (80 series videos only), so we can continue watching these incredibly capable rigs.

Carry on.

Not too wild, but my rig is stock height and this water was getting deep! It was pouring that day at Coney Flats...

I attempted four times with zero success. It was just too loose and slippery. I was running 20 psi but next time I am dropping to 15. If I go much lower the breakover angle becomes a problem. I saw 3 other rigs try, one being a 40 series on 39" Irocks double locked, no go. Two Jeeps tried and one of them ended up busting an axle shaft.

I did make it the month before but it wasn't as dug out at the top.

Backing out of those situations is what almost rolled me. You were lucky that you had ruts to keep you lined up while backing up. The front end swung around on me so fast on a third attempt at a similar hill climb.

No kidding. I was gung ho heading up and puckered backing down.
