The wheeling is not wild, but the countryside is.
From the first multi-day trip in my 80, a few years ago.

This one is from the Wasatch Cruisers Fall Moab Run later the same year:

WC Moab

cool... very nice...looks like everyone had a great time.

Still makes me laugh each time I see it.....

And one more. Funny how with :princess: shooting the vid you can feel more hesitant - I got a bit higher on the line than usual and kind of eased it over.

Treva who is getting reprimanded throughout is our 4 month old pup (briefly featured) :D.

This pic shows the position of the rig at the point of most lean before the rear driver side finally drops. (don't miss the video link :D)

Oh, and who says the 80 front doesn't flex :grinpimp:

Nice stuff Nay...I want an 80 more every day!! :flipoff2:

Yankee Hill via Central City Colorado with Rising Sun, great day as it hadn't snowed heavily up at high elevation in quite some time so the run was a combo of mostly easy stuff with some really big and at time wide drifts.

For those who haven't wheeled in high elevation "old snow", it basically crystallizes so it's like driving in soapy sugar (to see what I mean by "sugar", look behind the driver's rear at 1:18 into the video - getting through this stuff doesn't necessarily help the guy behind you). You get an 80 fully planted on the frame and you are pretty much done. The video is all right at tree line, so around 11K feet elevation.

The 37's make a huge difference over 35's - the end of the first section of vid is a 3rd gen runner locked in the rear on 33's and you can see how hard it is to even get going in this stuff.

I got stuck good with all four tires spinning in idle a couple of times and broke a tow strap. Kids got to sled in the mini half-pipe on the right side of the last scene while people tried different lines on the big drift...good times

Crystallized snow - guess it sounds much like the sound of my 80 trying to make some headway through the thicker stuff last year:

Ended up using the shovel for a few minutes to clear the back of the tyres & back up & head 1/4 mile back to where we had driven past our camp area. From an aussie that grew up in Western Australia where the only ice is in the freezer, driving in snow can be a ton of fun :)

cheers,
george.
