Hey JP,
The Mesa 15 miles east of Borrego Springs is one of the best kept secrets in Motorhoming. Spent 40 days there last winter. All the hip wheelers from San Diego and vacinity come on the weekends to run jeeps and other trash over the OHV area and act cool. You will find, I think, it doesn't hold a candle to School Bus hill at Tellico. You guys show them how to do it in style.
The Red Ocotillo resturant is a great place to eat breakfast...and cheap too. Try the restaurant at the
Borrego Airport for happy hour....cool place...neat people. Have a blast.

Woke JP up Friday morning. He was doing well. Said they had been on the trail the last few days. Said next event was in Salt Lake CIty next week. They were going over and hanging out in San Francisco until then.

I am currently in a holding pattern just north of San Diego will be here until Wed. Then we are off to Lake Tahoe for a skiing event this weekend........... then to Austin Texas for a rodeo!!!!
I finally got the pics off of my camera from training this past week spent a good day and half wheeling the thing in all kinds of conditions........ my favorite was some baja style open desert racing..... it is amazing how smooth an FJC is traveling at 80 mph through a dry river bed

thanks Andy!! they are supposed to pick-up 2-3 feet of new snow by wed............. and they already picked up 2ft just a few days ago. So to say the least I am stoked, just wish I could hit the slopes

Tahoe has had a really bad year in terms of snow. I was supposed to be there last week and cancelled because of the poor conditions.
With a few dumps like that, the place is going to be rockin!!

yeah things are looking up snow wise out here
we will be going to a relatively small resort called Diamond Peaks it is on the North East side of the Lake. Can't wait to get up there, it is going to be great

Well I spotted my first rare Cruiser today............. was driving through the high desert in CA and passed an FJ45 LWB sitting smack dab in the middle of this tiny town. From what I could see it was all original it even had the original hub caps 
............ I nearly wet my pants when I saw it, didn't look to have a bit of rust on it!!!!
I wasn't able to stop and get any pics
anyways I will update with some pics when I get to Tahoe tomorrow
