Picked up GF in the 40 series at LAX! Here is the 40 series waiting for her arrival at the IN&Out on Sepulveda. And watching the airplanes come in.

That’s a tuff trail; I have not gotten to do it. Put on the list!
It was more challenging than we expected though the view from the top is well worth the trip!

There are quite a few videos of folks taking stock Rubicons and new Broncos up the trail with 35” and smaller tires and it seems as if it would be a big challenge. It gave my Cruiser a thorough workout on 40s.

I was caught by a fellow Cruiser head, delivering the frame for my current project to the sand blaster yesterday evening.

The 40 is on break for 2 weeks, sitting in the garage. I’m in Italy with my son. We’re tracing our family ancestry.

Have a great time mate!

PS. Where in Italy? The port of Patras (W. Greece) is not far away...

Thats so awesome. My GF has been searching mine (it began as a gift). Pretty cool to see your lineage . We have only been able to get back to just before the family arrived in NA.

Found that Sylvester Stallones’ family is all from Bari

My grandpa was from Roseto, Pennsylvania. His grandpa was from Roseto Valfortore, Italy. He came through Ellis Island in 1881, went 100 miles west into PA for work in the slate quarries, established the settlement and named it. So I was told by my dad.

Hey @igotta40 hope you had a great time in the old country, our people are from just north of Treviso, my wife and I hope to go visit on our 20th wedding anniversary (couple years away).

I haven't driven my old rig very far other then on the trail in the backyard and in and out of the garage about 20 times working on some body work.

Forest service roads from home over Crooked Creek pass to get to Eagle Lake trailhead. Indian summer here so far.
