Diescipel said:If I may add one thing to diesel performance in my limited experience off road that has not been mentioned: overall speed control at throttle, not only laying off the clutch and having great torque from the get go, but also laying off the clutch while descending and having great speed control from the high compression engine. My FJ60 used to run away from me on some descents, necessitating the brakes which we all know is baaaaaaaaaaaaaddddd. This is almost never a problem with the BJ42.
